Well we have been to Mio's many many times since it opened and its always our go to restaurant for a good evening. However it's not the place it used to be.The food and service this time were so very disappointing. The warning signs should have been there when we asked what the specials were and there were none. We... More

Located in the village of Quorn. Popped in for a very quick lunchtime snack. Was offered a choice of around 15 filled Ciabatta served with chips and salad. Chose the poached salmon, king prawn and smoked salmon version with lemon and black pepper. It was delicious and there was loads of it. Sadly I was the only person in (suspect... More

This represents a good value meal ; well presented and enjoyable but the visual appearnace of the meal was diminished by the meat resembling a grey slice of beef . Steaks always look more appetising when grilled to leave the 'scorched lines' of the grill bars across the steak. I suspect that the meat portion wasn't grilled in this way

My son recommended this restaurant and i took his advice having the lasagne. Not very adventurous i know but it was excellent, The best I have for a long time (better than one I had in Florence last year!) . The set menu offers the best value but we had items from both and all were beautifully cooked and presented... More

We had tried this restaurant for the first time recently, and having read all the positive reviews, felt that this would be a good place to meet friends for dinner. It was a Saturday night and they were clearly very busy. We had the unfortunate start of having a waitress who explained that she was new. I can live with... More

A true taste of Italy…. Whilst driving through Quorn, from the corner of my eye I noticed an inviting & charming little place on the corner, to what I initially thought was a wine bar. Upon entering the bar area, we were warmly welcomed and was recommended a number of red wines and opted for a Sicilian wine, which was... More

If you drive into Quorn, the chances are you will see this restaurant, most likely the sign will catch your eye. It did ours and I'm so glad it did. We parked up across the road, loads of spaces in the car park, walked about 30 metres to the main entrance and was shown to a table with a glass... More

What a good reason to have lunch here twice in one week ! On the 18th May my daughter took me to lunch here. We were able to eat outside in the small courtyard area with the sun beating down, with the authentic food and service, could almost be in Italy. Fab pasta dishes and the best pizza ever !... More
