I go to many Indian restaurants and this is by far one of the best for the food and friendliness, service is normally excellent but a little slower when busy which is very acceptable, the staff are great, very friendly and attend to your every need, there are great offers on most of the time so go and have a... We've visited Koh i Noor several times in recent years. Surroundings are a little tired, and, don't go expecting fast food! Everything is hand prepared in the kitchen, so it can take a while especially if you're a big party and the place is busy. But all of this is more than made up for by the excellent service and excellent... More

I've eaten at the Koh-I-Noor lots of times and never thought to review it... having eaten again there recently and having had a great night I decided to add it to my reviews. I'd go for "unique" as a description for this place and unique in a good way, the food is fantastic, authentic curries and side dishes. Probably the... More

We visited the Koh i Noor on the strength of some of the previous reviews and it was one of the few places that accepted a 'Taste Card' on Saturdays in Loughborough, the other one Curry House being the Indian Ocean. The taste card enables you to either have 50% of the Food Bill Discounted or 2 for 1 Main... More

Needed a quick curry so went for the midweek special deal - poppadum & chutnies, onion bhaji, curry, rice or naan and drink for a tenner. Chutney selection included raita, onion salad, mango, tamarind and lime pickle - excellent for kick off... Bhaji was a bit soggy for my taste but well-flavoured. Plumped for the lamb ceylon with rice, hot... More

Went there tonight for food, great food ( special 2 for 1 on main courses) excellent choice on the menu, lamb dish was just so delicious and a real deep flavour, fresh cooked naan, staff very attentive. Got a free baileys at the end ( well there was 4 girlies) and orange segments and an After Eight mint

We regularly go for meals and have done for a few years.. You never feel rushed food is always beautiful and waiter always happy to help and suggest good choices. Great value for money. Some reviews say the service is slow the service isn't fast at all but it's worth the wait, all the food is cooked from scratch and... More

A really nice traditional Indian restaurant, few minutes walk from the town centre. Great welcome, very courteous staff, excellent menu and our meals were fabulous. We have eaten at more "modern" Indian restaurants, but personally I prefer this one as it was so relaxing. We will definitely return.

First time re visit in a long time! Over the last 20+ years I've visited this restaurant many times so thought id put down a few lines. Booked a table for 2 with my tastecard - 50% or 2-4-1 discount so worth it. Phoned in advance, reserved one of the booth style tables. Very private, that's why i like it.... More
