The Orange Tree LoughboroughA town centre favourite with a cosy atmosphere, The Orange Tree is laid back and friendly with an unpretentious feel. This large but intimate bar is full of big comfy sofas and quirky artwork on the walls, The Orange Tree loves to support local creative talent across the arts and music and regularly hosts live music nights showcasing the best new music in the Midlands. If you're in Loughborough and want cocktails...

then go to The Orange Tree. There are other places in Loughborough that sell cocktails, but The Orange Tree (and The Kelso - the club next door, same owners) is the best. Lovely food - I would highly recommend the nachos! Large selection of drinks on the drinks menu and a relaxing atmosphere.

Not much competition in Loughborough when it come to eating out. They are either mediocre chains or overpriced independents. We were her forSunday lunch. Good choice, freshly cooked and amazing value. And the bonus of no children in the plac.

We went in on a Saturday lunch time, sat down at the back and a waiter came over to take our order for food & drinks which was a good start as thought we would have to order from the bar. We waited 25 minutes for 3 drinks, and another 30 minutes for food I asked for some mayo which... More

My two daughters are very enthusiastic about this restaurant and after a recent visit with them I felt compelled to write a review. From the moment we entered the whole experience was very good. As a 62 year old I have had, over the years, many bad experiences at places that purport to provide good food and a friendly atmosphere.... More

We chose to leave Devon and now live close to Loughborough; not too close. The Orange Tree is simply superb; on a busy Sunday - our lunch was hot and tasty . An achievable luxury which most kitchens do not care about. My lamb was tasty; nice gravy; cold veg. Small pudding just lets the price off the hook. All... More

Hi Pamela Thank you so much for taking time to leave us a review. Firstly, may we apologise for your cold vegetables served with the sunday roast! The servers would have been more than happy to replace them with a hot serving for you, just let us know! ( we are a friendly bunch ) We do indeed welcome one... More

The Orange tree used to the place I went to..before I moved away. This place is the best. Great food, and great drinks. Staff amazing too..Just one question, you used to do a cocktail called Centenario, which I absolutely loved. Can I have the recipe? :)

AAhhh, this made us feel all warm & fuzzy! We missed you too. Centenario was quite some time ago....and we really had to strain our brains to remember this but I think it was a delicious mix of Havana Rum, Grandmarnier & Kahlua with fresh lime juice and grenadine syrup in an old fashioned glass with crushed ice. Friendly service crew and good food. Could do with a few more vegetarian options on the menu, however. The cocktails are a dream! Clean, warm, and a very inclusive atmosphere.

I went to the Orange tree loughborough with a friend for lunch. The staff were really friendly and the food was really tasty and good value for money. I had chicken fajitas and the homemade choc waffle sundae. Both of which I would have again. I would definetely recommend the Orange tree to anyone visiting loughborough.

Thanks for the review Leicestergirl91 - we are glad you enjoyed your visit to us on Monday. I can't personally take any credit for the food so I will be sure to pass on your review to the chefs as they really appreciate feedback on their food (and after being stuck in a hot busy kitchen all day it lifts...
