I have been coming to this establishment with my very good friend for the last 2 years. It has always been consistently good. The pub is in the nice end of Loughborough, if that isnt an oxymoron?? It is a large open place with an eclectic mix of old wooden tables and chairs with a few comfy sofas. The outside... More

The food was great overall! Good value for money, but guys when you say that your Sunday roast comes with 'roasties' I'm expecting golden brown, crispy-on-the-outside-fluffy-on-the-inside beauties - not fried up old baked potatos. Let me know when you change the roasties and I'll be back every week.

Thank you Bartlampard for the feedback, your description sounds like you are connoisseur when it comes to the perfect roastie! I'm sorry to hear that ours didnt cut the mustard, I will be passing the info on to our kitchen team to see if they can rise to the challenge! More

Stopped for lunch at this pub, which is located in the heart of Loughborough. Clean, plenty of tables and a beer garden too (though it was raining when we visited so we didn't venture outside). We ordered sandwiches and pints of Staropramen. Beware: the sandwiches are delicious but the slices of bread are massive! We (including male friends) ended up... More

Thank you for taking time to write a review of us, we like to hear as much feedback from our customers as possible! Our sandwiches are made from (rather thick) freshly cut slices of bread, and although generous on the bread we also try to make sure that we don't skimp on the fillings either! More

The cocktail menu is brilliant! The sevice is really quick and the food was yummy too. We stayed at the Premier Inn, which is literally across the road, so very good stumbling distance at the end of the night!

During the past four years we have eaten here many times as my son worked his way through the Uni. We've also tried other places in loughborough, but quite honestly none of them come up to the consistency and high quality of the food offered here. And as long as it's before 7pm (when food ends) the staff are always... More

My daughter brought me here as she thought I would like the food (she often goes here for the cocktails!) and I was not disappointed. Warm welcome, nice layout and delicious and generous food portions served quickly despite it being busy. We were all very impressed.

Having often walked past The Orange Tree me and my partner finally decided to give it a go. From the outside the pub looks quite grotty and inviting. Once through the door you are greeted by a large open space bar and large beer garden (although this could do with a clean). Staff were friendly and helpful however nobody checks... More

Hi Jo Thanks for the feedback we are glad that you decided to pay us a visit! We agree, the front of our pub is starting to look a little tired now and we have our sights set on replacement render and a neaten up in the not too distant future! Sorry to hear that you did not receive a... More

Fantastic, extensive cocktail and food menu - also has a good selection of beers. Without a doubt the best place to eat and drink in Loughborough. If you go here and don't have a Gentleman's Mojito then you are crazy! Great bar.

Now I must admit I've been a regular at this particular Orange Tree for a number of years but there's a reason I'm a regular, in my opinion it's the best bar in Loughborough, and believe me when I say there's no shortage of bars! It has a nice chilled out atmosphere a lovely beer garden and the music is... More

Thank you for taking time out to give us feedback! I noticed you mentioned our art work - did you know that all the prints that we display are available to buy? They come as framed or unframed prints direct from the artist, we take no commission so everything goes to the artist - as it should! If you are... More

Visited with our parents. Very reasonable prices we had wraps and sandwiches. All came with a well dressed salad and we added two (generous) bowls of home cut chips. Lovely period interior with mix of 4,6 and 8 seat tables. I was surprised at how spacious it was and a decent pub garden. Staff we're attentive without being pestering. Highly... More
