A superb bank Holiday weekend lunch at Lanes. Great value for money. Unfussey and very tasty food. Superb risotto starter with excellent calves liver main and delightfully presented pud. Good wine. Very spacious room with no pressure from staff to get a move on. Very much a family food with superior cooking. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed the meal, tasty fresh veg and yummy dessert. We were seated on a bench seat and chair so two different heights.

excellent food and service, the menu was a good mix of items that we think would suit most tastes. For the main course we chose turbot for one and fillet steak for the other. After reading the reviews we went for lunch during our stay. The service was impeccable and the lunch menu offered a variety of options including "light bites" which were reasonably priced and exactly what we felt like. Really worth visiting if you are in Lymington.
