This is a nice little Cafe', we have been to it many times, the staff are pleasant the service is good and so is the food, the only downside is that you might have to fight the locals for seat, but it is worth the fight.....!!!!

As strangers to Lytham we were looking for just a snack at lunch time. Having walked past several cafes we came upon the Chattery which was very busy. Always a good sign. There is seating for about 50 inside and about 4 tables outside. There are hot meals as well as snacks available and the prices are reasonable. If dining... More

We are regular visitors and always enjoy the breakfast! The staff are very efficient and friendly. The chattery eggs on the breakfast are the best in the land! A must if you ever go there! X

What a nice clean liitle cafe, with friendly staff and good food at a reasonable price. The cakes were especially good! Would go there again when next in Lytham.

If you were ever taken out to breakfast by your grandparents you would find that nothing has changed at the Chattery, from the old postcards and wall plate decorations to the menu to the guests, the staff and the food. It is amazing in the age of the latte and croissant generation that this place manages to stay true to... More

We visited 28/10/12. the food and service was o.k. The only thing is that the place is small and compact, there is always a smell of deep fat frying, it gets everywhere, on your clothes, in your hair, you smell of fat when you get in the fresh air.

This is the cheapest cafe in Lytham, you can smell the burnt chip fat from 50 yards away (good sign that its going to be cheap)

A large cafe with tables outside in summer months. Good for coffees and light snacks. Frequented often by the older generation.

Breakfast is an important meal. It is one of our favourite meals. For the last few years we have tried breakfasts in a variety of locations in the North West. These include garden centres, little seaside cafes, city centre delis, restaurants at tourist attractions, hotel breakfasts and carvery chain breakfasts. Having carried out this research, we feel that the Chattery... More
