I can't praise this place enough! Thank you, Trip Advisor reviewers, for guiding me to it. Firstly, the food was excellent, well presented and very good value. This was complimented by a nice selection of wines and a small, but good selection of real ales. The service was exemplary - the staff were friendly, helpful and really worked to make... More

We ate here on a fairly busy evening with a large table also eating in the restaurant. We had two courses and we cannot fault the food. The atmosphere was great and the team at The Blue Ball are always on top form. We will defiantly be returning as I hear there are new dishes going on the menu.

It really was super in every way possible!!!! The meal was delightful with so much choice!! The steak was amazing and everything was presented well with a smile. The atmosphere was so relaxing and I really enjoyed the open fire with a glass of wine with our dessert! Very impressed indeed! 10 out of 10!!!

My partner, myself and our toddler LOVE this pub. It's the best food we've eaten at a pub restaurant. The staff are lovely and welcoming. My partner actually took me here for our first date and we've been back a few times since. They are very accommodating for children too and have books / games / colouring stuff. The pub... More

Food and service were great. Spicy tomato soup followed by perfect rare rump steak, chicken chasseur for Mair and a great toffee pudding. Could not find a fault.

Decided to try this fairly local pub today for lunch and the food was really good. We both had the baguettes (1 beef and 1 sausage), which came with hand cut potato wedges and salad. Huge portions and very tasty although the beef one perhaps would have been nicer if the beef was warm but that is just personal taste... More
