Delicious pizza, with friendly service in a pleasant environment. There is a large blackboard stating all of their local suppliers and how far their ingredients have travelled (and the beer was local too!), which was a nice touch. The pizzas were delicious; freshly cooked and enormous, straight from their outdoor pizza oven. The rump steak and parmesan pizza was particularly... More

We went to Spring Night at the Millrace and had a lovely 3 course meal from a set menu for £18 each. All 3 courses were extremely tasty combinations, which worked well together. The ingredients were all locally sourced, fresh and very well presented. I especially loved the gold topped chocolate mousse cake! It was very rich and indulgent and... More

Friendly staff, excellent menu and wine list. Very tasty food, save room for a pudding - not to be missed.Highly recommend Tiger prawns, Sour dough bread, pork chop....brownie desert was fab, Panna Cotta to die for. Expensive - but worth it. Definately going to be eating here regularly.

We dined here on a Saturday evening and were very impressed. Despite not having booked on a busy Saturday with several large groups, the friendly bar staff sorted out a table for us and made sure we were looked after well all evening. Each of the three courses were superb, the highlights for us being the lovely crispy chips served... More

Superb quality, carefully sourced food... The menu was extensive and very ŵell thought out. The Specials menu featured fish dishes ( as every Wednesday ) there was also another well priced specials board with prices for 2 &3 courses. I ate with my family and every plate was delicious and well dressed. Cracking service, very friendly and efficient. Great ambience.... More

Just a quick one to say how nice it is to see proper old fashioned pork chops with a real amount of fat. A rare breed middle white from Richard Vaughan at Huntsham farm.

The Mill Race was recommended to us recently so when were in the area it was a good excuse to drop in for lunch. The meal was very good but service was a little slow at times. Staff were very friendly. We'll be back.

We have been returning on a fairly regular basis to attend their First Monday of every month events, it's worth the travel time without a doubt. The food and drink is always exciting, and has never disappointed. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff are really great company, which I have think makes the place a breath of fresh air,... Lovely atmosphere. Good food, however I was disappointed that there were no chicken dishes available. Not sure whether this was due to the recent floods or whether it is not featured on the menu. Friendly, helpful staff. Fab to see list of suppliers.
