I had heard a lot about this restaurant so decided to book as the venue for my works social. The staff were really helpful and accommodating ensuring everyone (16 of us) were completely satisfied. The portions are generous but the quality is still very much there and you can take any leftovers away!!! Will be returning with the family as... More

Thank you to the Cross Keys and very attentive staff for a lovely family birthday. The large room for groups is ideal for this type of get together, with wood burning stove and settees it is very welcoming. A good range off beers and real ales are available. Sunday lunch is a must and the puddings at a more than... More

We were amazed at how busy the pub was on a Tuesday lunchtime and we were lucky to grab one of the last tables. My husband had the legendary "whale and chips", which was nicely cooked and served with loads of chips. The meat lasagne, and bowl of mussels mains were also huge and cooked well. The service was good... More

Have eaten here several times and every meal has been fantastic. Staff friendly, service prompt, food is lovely and plentiful. The fish and chips should read 'Whale and chips!' Our grandchildren love the Sunday Lunch especially the roast, potatoes! Give it a try you will not be disappointed. If you want to eat there on Sunday you must book!
