Came for the other half's birthday on a sat night. After being told by friends how fab it was, we wasn't disappointed. Food was scrumptious and plenty of it definitely want a return visit ☺

Came back here on a busy Saturday night without booking a table, but were offered the conservatory area. Can't fault the food or service. Starters and mains came out very quickly despite being fully booked, certainly one off the best places to go in the forest area. Will defiantly be returning. Thank you

14 family members arrived here for a meal on Saturday evening, unfortunately we weren't expected as we had booked for the Sunday by mistake. We were still accommodated and had a wonderful meal with wonderful service. We even got a complimentary bottle of fizz as it was a birthday celebration. Wonderful evening!

We dined here on Saturday (evening) 1st November - having seen recommendations in the holiday cottage where we were staying. There was a nice ambiance about the place - it was packed and buzzing but despite that we were attended to quickly and did not have to wait long for food orders and drinks. It has a good varied menu... More

We were lucky we called in earlier than we'd originally planned to this very busy pub. We definitely wouldn't have got a table had we left it any later as it was clear, a short time after we'd been seated, that all the other tables had been booked. Although extremely busy the service was excellent, the staff were friendly and... More

My party consisted of five adults and four children (3 to 8) for Sunday lunch. We clearly would not have got in had we hadn't booked, the place was filling rapidly. After being poured a good pint of Wye Valley Bitter we were taken through to a good sized room heated by an efficient woodburner and given all the time... More
