We ordered our take away from just eat. After waiting for hour and a half for it to arrive. It was cold and tasteless for me and average for my Fiancé (average may be generous, the main flavour being sugar in his tikka masala) We are very disappointed with our first experience of Obilash and will not be returning in... As a local at the Obilash since the 1980s it has had a few ups and downs. My last meal a couple of months ago was disappointing so I've used elsewhere. Have given them another opportunity tonight. A very bland couple of dishes. The Madras was as if it had been made with a stir in sauce, and the Goa... More

Eight of us went to the Obilash on New Year's Eve, which is also my wife's Birthday. The service was friendly and attentive without being "pushy." The food was (as usual) excellent. The dishes we had were too numerous to mention, but I do like their description of the king prawns as "lobster-sized" - and it's not much of an... More

We ate here as we were spending a few nights over in Ross On Wye, glad we did. Good service, polite staff, great food. Chicken Naga was delicious, we will definitely return here next time we visit Ross On Wye

The original and I can now confirm the best Indian in Ross on Wye, I have tried all the others and find myself returning to this one. Lovely staff and food always hot, one word of caution, what the Madras, it's proper hot.

We recently stayed near Ross on Wye in October, and for my birthday I wanted Indian for dinner. Best decision ever to go to Obilash (having read other trip advisor reviews :) ) The food was simply superb, very good quality, extremely tasty and good portion sizes. We couldnt fault any of the dishes that we ordered. The staff were... More

Having recently moved to Ross thought we would give this a go and it proved to be good, straightforward takeaway fare. Mixed starter pleasant enough and mains of Chicken Dhansak was hot and meat content very generous. My wife had a chicken tikka biryani with a packed vegetable sauce which was enjoyed. Pleasant and good service encourages me to return.

The last time we went to the Obilash was for a meal to say goodbye to two friends who were moving away. These friends ate here every Thursday so where better to be?! The atmosphere was, as usual, warm and relaxing. The service, friendly, helpful and respectful. The food was presented well, and tasted delicious! The Obilash for me is... More
