We had a take away a few weeks ago which left us disappointed however we decided to give them the benefit of doubt.. How wrong were we... It was delivered and two things were missing I had to tell the delivery man that I wasn't paying for them after he tried to get me to pay the full amount!! My... More

Without a doubt, very tasty food. My one criticism would be on their takeaways - very little meat or main elements included. For instance, we had a prawn curry last week - 3 prawns swimming in a (admittedly delicious) sauce. Similar experiences with lamb and chicken dishes too.

The Obilash is a small but well decorated Indian- It feels very authentic. Though it is small, the tables are well spaced so you feel like you have the necesary privacy. The food is extremely full of flavour and portion size is generous. My chicken was particularly tender. The service was great all round, very attentive, friendly, polite and professional

I have been to the obilash both before and after change of management and refurbishment. The difference in food, service and environment is incredible. The food and service compliment themselves brilliantly to achieve an overall delightful dining experience. Thoroughly recommend it.

Very quiet Monday night, two other customers who were served as we arrived at our table for four people. Excellent flavours but the food was barely warm (even the sizzler!) when brought to the table. No apology, no discount. Only offer was to take each dish away and microwave it. It would mean we ate in relays rather than all... More
