A good find

We chanced on this brilliant restaurant by chance when visiting my daughter. We had the £6 (yes only £6 for a main, dessert and soft drink or coffee or tea) To be honest I wasn't expecting too much but was very pleased with the choice of menu and enjoyed the food. The choice of puddings was a... read more

The appearance of the pub is shabby not chic! Had to wait 30 minutes for our food, but had the misfortune to be sat at the table facing the kitchen serving hatch. The time passed quickly however as we watched the entertainment. It would seem gloves are are an optional food handling item, and we were very relieved that we... More

Took my parents out for my dad's birthday. Meals are cheap and nice, only downside was the rocket lettuce (not too keen as peppery would have preferred plain lettuce) but that said everyone is different! Staff friendly and talkative (even try to have a joke - my new nickname pants on fire - long story) anyways would definitely recommend and... More

If your after something different than McDonald's this is the place. Low price food but not the best quality. Ok service but manager tired to make the experience good. I suppose I'd eat there again ...... If I had to !

Defiantly would not recommend -No toilet roll in the toilets -No lime to have with a drink -Carpet on the step to the toilet was all pulled up which could of been a tripping hazard -Dirty places took a long time to be cleared -Waited 30 minutes for a pudding and it came out cold

My family of 8 recently visited the Prince , myself for the 8th time. It was a Saturday evening. Each of us had a different meal. From child's fish fingers to a large steak. Each of us ate all our meals with no complaints whatsoever . The young ladies who served us our meals was very polite and friendly. It's... More

Having visited another 2468 pub and not being impressed, mostly by the décor, we were not highly expectant at a quality result. How surprised we were. The menu is the same, and on this occasion we only wanted a light bite despite it being the evening. We went for a fish and chips, jacket potato cheese and beans, chilli con... More

I visited this pub with my partner and 3 year old daughter. We ordered..then we waited..and then we waited..and then we waited more. Finally after a 45 minute wait my partner was handed a mixed grill with 3 items missing from the plate. My daughter given a roast dinner that was so bland everything tasted of nothing and the meat (which we took... Ten of us visited The Prince of Wales last Sunday for Mother's Day. We had expected it to be busy and it was, but the staff were very attentive and our meals were all served very quickly. A few had the carvery which was delicious with plenty of choice. We even had free glasses of Prosecco with our meal! This... More
