Have used the Prince many times and always enjoy great service and brilliant value for money food. Has a wide range of food on the menu all at great prices.

Popped in for lunch with my husband & young daughter. Overall first impressions was it looked tacky & cheap. It took a good 15mins to have our table cleared. With dirty finished plates from the previous customers sat at the table. When my food arrived it was 'stone cold'. So had to wait for 10mins to receive it back. The... More

Visited today, Sunday 25th Jan, for Sunday lunch and overall the third time we have been here...and every time there has been an issue with our order....either incorrect delivery or something out of stock. Whilst the food itself is actually very good (enjoyed today's carvery immensely) what lets the overall experience down is the level of service. Whilst the staff... More

I came to the Prince of Wales for a meal as my partner was at work, I ordered a 8oz steak medium rare, with mashed potatoes and a peppercorn sauce, with no peas. It took no more than 10/15 minutes to arrive to my table. A waitress who i think was called Tia brought my food and made sure i... More

I was a bit dubious to begin with - when something seems to good to be true, it probably is! So I wasnt expecting particularly good food. However, we were all pleasantly surprised. 6 of us ate for £32, the food was delicious and hot, it came very quickly and the portions were a really good size. I'm not going... More

The food is excellent value for money, but £3.45 for a pint of Butty Bach is far too much. I'd pay that in an Oxford city centre pub where that seems to be the going rate, but certainly not in an out of town Ross food pub.

Went for a meal with my friend at 7 o'clock and got asked for id as you weren't allowed in the bar past 6, considering you order at the bar the man wouldn't even let us order food because we had to go to the bar, he was very rude about it and didn't even apologise. I could understand if... More

Have been here twice now. Cheap as chips menu. If you're wanting a meal that really good quality then this isn't the place for you. For a group of people or if you're taking kids then its great value. There is a menu of meals for £2, £4, £6 & £8. The portions are decent sized portions. For kids there... More

First thing i noticed was staff shouting, should have walked straight back out. You pay by cash only!!! The place was dirty and noisy, food was poor but you get what you pay for. I will not be returning.

Came here for a meal with our folks and was taken into the back of the restaurant next to the kitchen. The menu was laid out very simply with 4 main sections for £2, £4, £6 and £8. The menus themselves were a little sticky. I had piri piri chicken and chips. Loved the chips and the corn on the... More
