Booked a table and no body to show us which was ours on arrival - this has happened twice, one waiter even told me just to walk around until I find the one with my name on it. We asked at the bar about our table and a very busy barman explained someone was sat on our table and said... read more

On arrival we walked into pub to be met with quite thick smoke. Something had obviously burned in the kitchen, we wanted to sit outside, however all of the tiles had full asdhtrays and cigarette burns on them. We found a table inside and as we sat down a couple with a dog walked through! Mentioned this to the bar... More

I wouldn't normally leave a review for a cheap place like this but people need to know that cheap isn't always good. £8 steak was disgusting. It stunk. For cheaper with a drink and better quality go to the Witherspoon s down the road. The knife wasn't sharp enough 2 cut through the gristle! Never again!! Hang your heads in... More

We met friends for lunch Monday of last week. The barmaid was not at all welcoming and it took us a while to find a clean table. We eventually settled in the restaurant at a table layed with cutlery and napkins. When we sat down we became aware the table was sticky and greasy! We cleaned it ourselves with wet... More

Had a great Sunday lunch today. Could not fault it and great value for money. Good selection of vegetables and choice of three meats.

Came here for a pub meal over the weekend. Have been here on several occasions and the steak has been a bit iffy on three occasions now. You cannot fault the price, that's great, however, I find that they might be taking shortcuts (Pardon the Pun) on where they are getting the meat from or how they are cooking it.... More

Visiting our daughter who lives in Ross, went to The Prince of Wales again today. This is a brilliant place to eat. The food is good, the restaurant is clean and the staff do a wonderful job of making you welcome. Thu only thing I would ask is that there should be new potatoes on the menu, otherwise I would... We had a very nice pub meal today, the staff were friendly, and the pub and toilets were very clean. 😀

The hand drier in the men's toilets has not worked properly for more than a year now despite reporting the fact to the manager(s) many times. How can customers be expected to wash their hands properly? Come on owners get it replaced!!!

I went to the prince of wales last Wednesday with my husband for the first time and the first thing that struck me was the fact they do not take card...not taking card in the year 2015 is absurd. Secondly the cash machine they had in the restaurant did not work. I feel very sorry for the staff who went... More
