First thing i noticed was staff shouting, should have walked straight back out. You pay by cash only!!! The place was dirty and noisy, food was poor but you get what you pay for. I will not be returning.

Came here for a meal with our folks and was taken into the back of the restaurant next to the kitchen. The menu was laid out very simply with 4 main sections for £2, £4, £6 and £8. The menus themselves were a little sticky. I had piri piri chicken and chips. Loved the chips and the corn on the... More

Came here for a family birthday meal! What a pleasant surprise! Very good value for money and the staff were so lovely. Fresh clean toilets that were easy accessible. Cavery was top notch and much better variety, size and price than a cavery @ toby cavery!! The staff coped very well with 16 of us and were very cooperative. Need... More

Heard bad things about this pub but was convinced to go with friends for an early dinner. On arrival the place was absolutely full but we were greeted by the manager, who was very polite and friendly, and found us a table. It was hard to choose from such a large menu but most of us settled for steaks and... More

Food here is excellent value. Carvery was only £6 and very tasty and included a free dessert on a Wednesday. I was informed to book for Sunday carvery as it gets very busy. Nice touches in dining area with real flowers on tables. One thing they could improve is a sign to the ladies toilet in restaurant as my mother... More
