Beautiful old building with huge beer garden and terrace, play area. Friendly staff. Excellent food. We had the steak and ale pie with fresh veg and chips. Couldn't have cooked it better myself!

We camp in the Wye Valley every year and choice of eateries is a little limited. We always pop in for at least two bar meals in the evening. This year was no exception and was the first time we were disappointed. The menu is quite comprehensive and the bar staff try their best but at busy times never seem... More

There was an extensive menu including specials. We had a Sirloin steak and Steak & Ale pie both made with locally sourced beef which is hung and butchered on site. These were very tasty. There were 2 real ales on hand pumps, one from a local brewery. We sat outside in the extensive garden which had lots of flowers and... More

We went to the bar restaurant at The Old Court whilst we staying in the area. The first night we ate in the Conservatory which was lovely. We enjoyed it so much we went back again on our second night. We ate in the garden as it was a lovely evening. The food is typical pub food, nicely presented and... More

We had lunch here previously, but today we just had tea for 4. It was less than £5 and we had a huge pot of tea, and a little piece of really lovely flapjack each. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly helpful staff, and they brought the tea to us. We sat on the sofa's in a room... More

Enjoyed one of the best ever cod & chips here, for lunch; very healthy and modern salad with it; super spicy chips; lovely choice of seating areas; nice garden view.

Having just spent 2 nights at this 16th Century Manor House, we would both recommend this and will certainly be back. Everything was perfect from the location to the staff who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Thank you very much

Nice gardens and buildings. We ate in the bar, food was very good although these new ideas of presenting food is beyond my comprehension. The fish was excellent although why the chips had to be coated in some sort of spicy coating is a mystery, I would have preferred a traditional dish of fish and chips. Apart from that I... More

Always a lovely place to go with young children. Nice beer garden with play area in a beautiful setting at the entrance of the Wye Valley. Food and drinks are a bit on the pricey side so if on a budget this is not your place to go! Visited recently (28.06.15) 2 x adult meals, 2 x children's' meals and... More
