Another great meal at this establishment. I have travelled extensively throughout Asia and this place produces authentic Asian food. If you want the MSG you will have to go elsewhere!

This is THE BEST Chinese eateries within a 40 mile radius of Ross on Wye in my opinion. Cooked to order using fresh and very tasty ingredients. Service is quick and staff are attentive. Their set menus are incredible in both choice, price and quality not to mention the amount of food. One of my friends was struggling to source... More

Had a meal here in early August on a Saturday evening with my wife and the food was first class, could not be faulted and 3 courses and a bottle of wine for £55 is pretty good value. Only one lady serving both restaurant and take away but service was great, no complaints at all, well done. My daughter and... More

Barbecue ribs were 10 pieces of miniature bone and fat with traces of meat. The dim sum was spot on. The main meals being special sweet and sour/beef chowmein were quality but very small portions on the small plate provided. You actually feel that your being conned as the dishes arrive! Oliver Twist style! Left feeling very hungry!

Someone recommended this Chinese restaurant to us and their recommendation was definitely worth taking up. This is a very small place with just one very hard working but attentive young lady waiting on. The food we ordered was perfectly cooked and very tasty indeed. You definitely need to book as it was busy.

Visited on Saturday night, we had booked luckily as we took the last table - not overly big eating area, but nice enough to feel that you weren't jam packed and could hear your own conversations rather than other tables! had a little wait for the food - but don't mind that as you know it is freshly cooked -... We visited here mid week in January. We were the only people in the restaurant but this was not an issue. The service was very good and friendly and the food was good. We had the mixed starter - seaweed, chicken sate, spare ribs, spring rolls and prawn toasts followed by crispy duck, then deep fried chilli beef and malaysian... More

I haven't been to China Boy Jo in years as the last meal I had there was frankly awful. I made the mistake of taking about 8 people, so it was both a dreadful meal and very expensive. I noted that it has a 5 star hygiene rating (these days, that's the first thing I check before booking!) and thought... More
