A great meal

After travelling to Nepal last year then hearing about Yaks 'n' Yetis it's been a long time coming! Me and my partner went for a birthday treat and we're delighted to receive such a traditional Nepalese welcome! The service was friendly and the food bought back memories from my trip away! You've got to try the MOMOS! They are delicious... More

Went due to the reviews on TA and were not disappointed. We went as the restaurant opened which was lucky as it soon filled up, I would suggest you book. What makes the place so good is the food, every dish we had was superb. I did not give it 5* as the service was a little slow, we had... More

Having lived in North East Hampshire I have eaten in many Gurkha restaurants and this is without doubt one of the best. Great welcome and equally great food. Will definitely return!

I've enjoyed authentic Nepalese food before, as there are a couple of very good restaurants near where I live. Unfortunately apart from the name, there was nothing very original or different about Yaks n Yetis. Portions were very small (only three or four pieces of chicken in the meat dishes) and the whole meal was over-priced. We were left wishing... More

A very good, and interesting, alternative to standard curry in Ross. We enjoyed excellent and attentive service even on a full Friday night. The set meal was great value and a fine introduction to Katmandu's cuisine. Try the Nepalese beer too - another fine taste.

Fabulous food. The young girl was attentive and asked us what kind of spices we liked and gave us advice on what to try. Fabulous food and service would definitely recommend this place :-)

We ate at this restaurant having read other reviews and were not disappointed. It was a mid week evening and the restaurant was almost full by 7.30pm. We had not eaten Nepalese food before so were grateful to the staff for explaining some of the dishes to us before ordering. The food was lovely and we enjoyed it all. We... More

Charming people, and a real family atmosphere, this is clearly a popular local restaurant. However, the food is poorly presented. Most dishes looking a bit samey, and a bit uniform in colour and texture. The bill was not cheap, either. But these are such nice people that you have to wish them well...

Had a fantastic meal with friends on Sunday evening. We went early, whilst it was relatively quiet. We were treated with warmth and courtesy. The menu was explained to us - I had the Daal Bhatt - delicious, spicy as I requested - they can do it mild, medium as well. Good value for money.
