Second visit (previous one was about 8 years ago). Food is lovely, wide range of starters and main courses that can be spiced to your requirements (although the hot is not really that hot, bit less than a Madras). Order was taken and the waiter bought over some complimentary water melon due to how hot it was. Wife had Pork... More

Based on tripadvisor ratings, we went here while in Ross on Wye for dinner. While we had to wait an hour for a table (we hadn't booked but found a lovely pub up the road to while away the time in), it was very much worth it - the food was superb and very reasonable indeed. They'll happily make your... More

We decided to return to Yaks N Yetis after eight years. To our delight not much as changed. No longer do you have the option to sit on the floor downstairs, but the food is still excellent. An assortment of starters was as good as we remembered, followed by the Nepalese beef curry, which is cooked to your own taste,... More

We love Yaks and Yetis. It's spicy if you want it, but as everything is cooked fresh you can specify how you want your meal and I don't like too hot - so they make it just how I like it. The coconut rice is the best rice in Herefordshire! Delightful staff who just want you to be happy. Service... More

Yak's and yeti's looks basic but food and service very good. Curries nicely spiced and with a choice of hotness (moderate is still quite potent). Reasonable choice of beers and desserts to finish up.

Phoned for a takeaway called to collect ready on arrival very very friendly staff Slip in a few extra bottles of beer which are very appreciated. The quality of the food was excellent and there was nothing a left at the end of day.

Yak's and Yeti's is great - fantastic food, great service ( always).... and I love how traditional it all is. No its not a flash restaurant, but that's what adds to its character.......and the take-outs are just as good too!......

It just shows how doing your research on Trip Advisor helps make for a great experience. On planning our trip to Ross, we found the thought of trying Nepalese food as a new and exciting one - We weren't disappointed, it was brilliant!! From arriving at the front door to be greeted by the owner, he was the epitomy of... More

Really enjoyed the food here. Great if you want something a little bit different. Staff were friendly and attentive, and happy to discuss dishes and make recommendations. Portions were massive, we were totally stuffed by the end. I think that it was good value for money and would definitely recommend this restaurant to other people.

This place was a gem of a find. Varied menu with some items that you won't find in a normal standard curry house. I had the chicken livers which were nice, but a little dry (wouldn't stop me having them again) followed by the dall baht. Spicy lamb curry, with rice, a portion of dall and some spinach, plus crisp... More
