We looked around the town for a while without being inspired to try any of the restaurants. This one was different, inexpensive and good quality. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service was great.

A Nepalese/Gurka restaurant. Helpful staff and great food. We tried all the unpronounceable dishes and everything was so flavoursome. Everything is available as mild, medium or hot. We asked what hot meant and were told not as hot as Indian curry. We like our curry hot so went for that and it was just right, you can taste the food... More

Whilst looking for a good value meal to warm us after a rainy day canoeing on the river we stumbled upon this lovely little restaurant serving interesting and tasty Asian cuisine. Good food, good service, good value.

The first Asian greeting of Namaste I think we have had in a UK establishment. It boded well. The hight of the season but we arrived early and managed to get a table. Service was warm and friendly. Lovely freshly made food at very reasonable prices.

We had lunch here and it was excellent. The owner helped us choose as the menu was not your usual Indian restaurant one. He advised well and the dished we had were very nice indeed. A great restaurant and well worth a visit. Prices were reasonable and the atmosphere great Recomended

Your Namaste greeting gives a clue to the harmony of the meal you're about to have; tibetan or indian beer wash down with a not-overly powerful flavoured curry style food. Pleasant service, if a tad slow, but you should be relaxing in the sleepy town of Ross.

Second visit (previous one was about 8 years ago). Food is lovely, wide range of starters and main courses that can be spiced to your requirements (although the hot is not really that hot, bit less than a Madras). Order was taken and the waiter bought over some complimentary water melon due to how hot it was. Wife had Pork... More

Based on tripadvisor ratings, we went here while in Ross on Wye for dinner. While we had to wait an hour for a table (we hadn't booked but found a lovely pub up the road to while away the time in), it was very much worth it - the food was superb and very reasonable indeed. They'll happily make your... More

We decided to return to Yaks N Yetis after eight years. To our delight not much as changed. No longer do you have the option to sit on the floor downstairs, but the food is still excellent. An assortment of starters was as good as we remembered, followed by the Nepalese beef curry, which is cooked to your own taste,... More
