Friendly service and beautifully made cakes. Cosy setting. Not cramped. Central location. Well run and great selection of products.

We had a pit stop here for coffee and cake on a ramble around Salcombe. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and nice cake (my husband had banana cake, I had Bakewell tart). Lots of seating & a prime location in town. My only slight criticism is the cake was a little on the pricey side (£2.95 for a slice) but it... More

The coffee is good, seriously. The food is very enjoyable. The owner recognises us when we visit, and we always call in when in Salcombe, and we receive a friendly welcome. The family always visit when they are down as well. We will be back in July.

I visited this place on my own. I wanted only a cup of coffee and I had to wait for a while and the staff was quite reserved and I did not feel good on the promises. I dont think I will be in rush to go there again.

Had a cream tea at £5.95; 2 scones and a pot of tea. Scones were very nice but smaller than other cafes charging the same price in the area. Nice atmosphere and lots of other homemade cakes to choose from.

We love coming here, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food is delicious and the service is friendly and charming. Book in advance if you want dinner, it is popular. At breakfast and lunch, it can get cosy when it is busy, especially on wet days, but most patrons are friendly and it adds a sense of fun for... More

Don't be deceived by the name.We stopped here on a Sunday and enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast.Good local quality beef just still a little rare.A fine collection of vegetables with roast potatoes in decent quantities and Yorkshire pudding.I wanted the sticky toffee pudding with Salcombe dairy ice cream but my partner took that responsibility,I ended with a coffee.Warm service and... Great little place. So nice to find somewhere that does great coffee that isn't one of the huge, soulless coffee chains that seem to be everywhere. We popped in for coffee and a late lunch when we were staying in Salcombe. Staff were incredibly friendly, warm and polite (really makes a place in my view) and made my milkshake the... More

We had to visit this coffee shop again on our second visit to Salcombe, after a very enjoyable first visit, both within the week. The coffee shop is small but very inviting. The cakes and tea are excellent, unfortunately we never tried the coffee. They also service gluten free cakes (small selection), a bonus as one of our party is... More

Always good in here, friendly staff with nothing seemingly too much trouble, a regular visitor. We keep coming back again and again, the only draw back for some is no dogs inside but they are welcome outside.
