My husband and I were visiting Weybridge (just to get out of London for a few hours) on a Saturday afternoon about three weeks ago. Cheap car park just up the road - bonus. As soon as we walked past I was intrigued. With the sun shining, which it was, it looked just like it should be somewhere in the... More

My daughter & son-in-law took my wife & I to this restaurant as it is one of their favourite restaurants & we were certainly not disappointed. The owner is a charming & most welcoming host. The restaurant has a great ambience & the staff & service are excellent. The selection of tapas dishes were very good & all of the... More

Stopped here early on a Saturday evening....hadn't booked and were made to feel very welcome. We sat outside and the owner could not have been more charming...he made sure we had enough table space and recommended a very pleasant wine which was excellent value for money. Authentic and tasty tapas at a sensible price....how it should be done!

Lured in by the curb appeal of this quintessential Spanish restaurant and then by the warm welcome of the proprietors, we had an impromptu tapas lunch which rated with some of the best we've had in both the UK and in Spain. Ambience, food, drink, value all score highly and make this a definite recommendation.

Went for a meal with my family for my birthday a few months ago, and we couldn't have picked a better place. Restaurant is pretty small and a bit of a tight squeeze so I'd definitely book ahead, it wasn't an issue for us we just thought it was quite funny and charming. Definitely reminds me of some restaurants I've... More

I went to this restaurant in early June. I had previously been to this restaurant, several times in fact, and always loved it. The spanish atmosphere, the great food and wine, the colourful character that is the owner. I had not been for quite a while and I was looking forward to it. I have never been so disappointed. First,... More

We went back for our second visit this evening since moving to Weybridge, and sadly we are done with El Meson. On our first visit, the food was fine but for some reason they insisted on bringing all of the tapas at once. Despite requesting that a couple be brought at a time. Call us odd, but having a bit... Lovely ambience with personal service, tapas were delicious as was the fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic. Must book as it gets very well - recommended.
