We had just moved into the area and checked trip advisor for a local restaurant. Sosio's was perfect it not only has a lovely welcoming atmosphere you feel like you are visiting friends for dinner. The food was amazing the French Onion Soup was the best we have tasted since visiting Paris on honeymoon nearly 40 years ago we will... More

Last night was our first visit to Sosio's and we were well looked after by them. The food was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The owners could not have been more helpful and friendly. All four of us could not fault it, we all chose something different from the menu and were offered additional tempting dishes from the specials of... More

My husband and I went to Sossio's on a rare night away. It had a lovely intimate feel without feeling pretentious. The staff were attentive without you feeling intruded upon. The food was absolutely lovely and worth every penny. I had fish and my husband had lamb both beautifully cooked. We had a lovely evening in a nice restaurant. There... More

Sosio's has always been our favourite local restaurant - I first went there in 1994, but it was a favourite of my husband before then -and we always look forward to his freshly prepared and beautifully presented menu, with specials to tempt all palates. Our favourites include their warming French onion soup and scallops thermidor to start, followed by the... More

We first started dining at this hidden jewel in 1993 while living in England. Over the years, we have introduced friends and business associates to this wonderful culinary experience, without a doubt that they would enjoy their experience as well. The creative menu selections and specials are all brilliantly prepared and varied enough to satisfy diverse tastes and cravings. We... More

A business meal at this small and charming restaurant. This small family run business turns out delicious food. A relatively small menu everyone felt they were still spoilt for choice. Beautifully cooked and turned out. Vegetables were perfect too. The restaurant doesn’t seat many, so feels quite select and great for small parties. A little old fashioned but not in... More

My partner and I enjoyed a beautifully cooked meal at Socio's this week but were disappointed by the bright lighting and lack of atmosphere. I anticipated walking into a small, cosy restaurant with dimmed lighting and quiet French or Italian background music. I'm sure that if attention was given to such details, the restaurant would become a real gem. The... More

My wife & I went for the first time last week. Go for traditional, flavoursome dishes presented with oodles of old-fashioned charm (largely thanks to Paulo the silver-tongued & slightly comic waiter). The attention might be a bit much if you're looking for a quiet night, but is fun if you're in the mood. This is the type of family-run... More

My wife and I went to Sosio's last night and it was one of the best meals we have had. The food was cooked to perfection and the owners of the restaurant were totally welcoming and were very entertaining. This is a must visit!!!

My husband and I went there for the first time on Friday and were very pleasantly surprised! The food is a little retro but freshly prepared and tasted superb! We had crab cocktail & pâté to start, followed by steak Diane and Dover sole. We will without a doubt return soon. The waiter and chef were hilarious!
