Tasty food

Visited the bilash this week for a pre show meal and ate from the set menu. Very good food, friendly, helpful staff too. Would definitely visit again. I thought the menu was a little, just a little overpriced. Overall very good

On the way there even the taxi driver agreed this was on of the best Asian restaurants in town, though he did mention portions were not huge and it was a little pricier than most. However as I appreciate good food this did not put me off, and on arriving learnt of its reputation and chef's Michelin accreditation. Service was... More

Made to feel as welcome as a t**d in a swimming pool. The service was slow, the order was wrong and we were overcharged on the bill. So honestly two stars is generous.

Ate here with friends - higher priced Indian food but it is worth it. Really lovely food & good service without being rushed to finish so they can have the table reused. Cost £230.00 for 4 but included couple of rounds of drinks (spirits), starters, mains & couple of side dishes. Everything was lovely - best Indian food I've eaten!

This is no ordinary Indian restaurant - its the fine dining equivalent. We use this restaurant on a regular basis but mainly prior to going to the theatre when there is a special pre theatre menu available. Only point to note is to ask for a table away from the door during the winter as it is quite drafty when... More

Visited the Bilash for the first time this week. Unfortunately I won't be going again. The food was expensive. Small portions and not very warm. Didn't like to complain as it was family get together. Just won't be taking a 2nd visit. The staff were friendly but maybe a little too attentive as I was put off by them hovering... More

I have been a regular visitor to the Bilash for over 10 years. My main concern, the stupidly high prices one has to pay for food here, (allow at least £35.00 just for the food) is well documented. Sadly now the bar is going the same way. At one time there was a selection of Lagers including Bangla beer but... More

Met several friends for a meal after work last week. We all chose from the Pre - Theatre menu, and every meal was delicious. I had the best paneer I have ever tasted , the presentation was lovely, served with the most delicious chutney and pickles. Afterwards I had chicken which was absolutely gorgeous , can't believe I have never... More

Whatever the occasion, the Bilash will exceed your expectations. We have been there to celebrate our wedding anniversary, Valentines night, birthdays etc., etc. The have always delivered excellent food with service to match. Cannot recommend it highly enough; and they can accommodate my strict dietary requirements (Coeliac-gluten free).

Three in our party went to this restaurant on recommendation - it was an excellent referral. Shared plate of starters were superb. Donia tiger prawns and murghi diya donia - the chefs specials - were to die for!!! This must be some of the best Indian food in the West Midlands - the chef has been in post for 30... More
