First off, unless you're VERY hungry, go easy on what you order. The starter portions are basically main course sized. We also ordered the cheesy dough balls, which were massive! The pasta dishes we had were great and it's nice that your can choose the pasta type you go for. Great value for money, friendly and efficient staff, nice location.... More

I've loved Brio for many years. I'm not a massive fan of pasta but the fish dishes on their specials menu have always been incredible - I remember the first time I had one I was telling everyone that I'd just eaten the best meal of my life! Not sure if they've had a change of chef but things haven't... More

Average food. Average service. Too many bones in the fish!!!!! Don't appreciate a service charge being added to the bill either! I you decide to tip surely that's up to you?

Was taken here for a meal on a hot summers day and ate outside. Went again today and ate inside. both times the service was very good (very authentic Italian) and despite being very busy the waiting time was not too long. Food is fabulous but as one other review mentioned, they do not always serve what was asked for... More

There is no excuse for poor service. The waiter lacked personal hygiene and had a poor attitude. The proprietor took our food order, and my wife specifically asked whether her meal came with sauté potatoes - he confirmed that it did. The meal arrived with mashed spinach and potato. My wife queried this and the proprietor offered chips instead. These... More

I love it here. Brio is one of my favourite local restaurants. The staff are always really friendly (the Italian owner is generally there and singing). The service is quick and attentive and the food always good (try the garlic and mozzarella dough balls - amazing!) The location is fab, right on the sea front so lovely sat out there... More

Had a nice meal here yesterday evening. Weather was awful so restaurant was nearly empty. I had the chicken risotto, very nice, not sure about the cherry tomatoes in it though. Service was good and attentive. Will definitely be returning again soon.

Have eaten here a few times over the past year, the food has never been great. The pizzas are good but everything else is below average, especially consider the high prices charged. On our last visit all the food came out barely warm, including some of the carrots being hot and some freezing cold - how do you even manage... More

The food was good, but experience was spoilt by the service. The bill had a compulsory 10% tip added even though there was only two of us. When politely questioning this the waiter gave quite an aggressive answer, which as a customer I did not expect. This put a negative spin on the experience and I won't be eating their... More

My family went here for a meal on saturday night. I had smoked Salmon and vodka pasta which was very tasty. The rest of my family all enjoyed their meals also. It wasnt over priced, and all the staff were very friendly. We will definatley go back. Would recommend you book as it was quite busy.
