We had take away from Chipwick's last week after having been advised by the locals that it was the best place for fish and chips in Worthing. The fish was very fresh and the batter crispy. The chips, too, were very tasty. We've had other fish take aways in Worthing and Chipwick's was definately the best.

Since the Mum & dad gave up the business quality appears to have declined.Nothing like as popular as it used to be.

We have been here many times, and it was exellent, best we had had. This time however sevice was very slow, and there were only four of us in there. We ordered and then waited 25 minuets for food to come. When it came it was not very hot,and a very small bowl of chips. When we asked for our roll and butter,we were told ,there are,nt... Chipwick wins on several counts. Most importantly of course the fish and chips are as good as any we'd had anywhere. The fish was definitely the most fresh I've had anywhere - short of that caught myself. Must have been caught that morning. My group had cod and haddock both perfect as was the batter, tasty and crisp not too... More

I used to have a holiday home across the road from this place but upgraded it for one in Brighton a few years ago, Chipwicks is still worth the drive though. Some of the best fish and chips I've ever had, and even if the restaurant's full you can sit on the beach and eat them on a summer evening.

We've been aiming to try and fit in a long walk in the South Downs and then have fish and chips on the beach from a decent South Coast fish and chip shop. Chipwick was the fish shop we identified and as it has a website discovered it opened early 4.30pm and also had a restaurant. As it was turning... More

Spent Saturday evening here after visiting goodwood festival of speed. Superb service, people with personality who interacted - loved it! Scallops to star - pure perfection, beautiful! Haddock, chips and mushy pease - fabulous, probably the best I have ever had. Loved the info. Leaflet, clean oil used everyday, and therefore less fat absorbed. Fantastic service, food and evening out.

Had a very good fish (prime cod fillet) and chips and onion rings. The fish was excellent, the chips could have been just a tad crispier. The service was very nice and attentive!

Medium cod and chips twice for under £12 - good value, and very tasty. Also a very popular choice, with quite a queue on a sunny Saturday - good for them. The pay and queue system is good in principle, but when busy they seem to get in a muddle over who arrived first, so you need to be alert... More

They even do a perfectly acceptable veggie burger. Their chips are ace. Nice fresh salad and coleslaw, too, if that's your thing. Look out for the yellow fisher man outside!
