Had a 2 4 1 voucher for a main course so decided to visit here early evening with a friend. She had the lasagne and I chose the brewers chicken without the cheese. Service was pretty good but when the meal was served the chicken was not very hot...not sure why as the chips were piping hot..it came with a... More

Had a good traditional Sunday lunch at the bull yesterday. Two levels of choice/cost available. I opted for slow cooked belly of pork that came with roast spuds, Yorkshire pudding, fresh veg, stuffing and a proper sized pig in blanket. Service was very good, we booked a table for 3pm, so it was quieter than it had been earlier (dining... More

Whats happened here? After a year of being away I come back to find my regular pub has decided to stock mostly Swedish poncey ciders, poor ale selection and general lack of decent drink selection. To top it off, we were leaving and stood right by the front door quickly reading the menu in case we wanted to come back... More

Great place to visit after a long dog walk, friendly atmosphere, great selection of drinks. Loads of parking. We will eat next time we visit as only in for a drink today but all looks promising.

My husband and I hadn't been to this restaurant before so thought we would give it a try. It had a lovely atmosphere and the waitress was very welcoming and our drinks came very quickly. We ordered Garlic Bread each as a starter which we waited fifteen minutes for, it was nice but could have done with the bread being... More

Visited here with a largish group on a Friday night. We pre booked which was good as it was very busy. No trouble for them though, the food was lovely and very reasonable, everyone said they would come back again.

Went here with a friend one evening - have a Gourmet Society card which gives 25% discount on meals including drinks. We both opted for burgers for the main course which were brought out within about 20 mins of us ordering- the pub was pretty busy for a mid-week evening and there seemed to be a barbeque going on outside... I have been coming to The Bull regularly for a few years now but having been away for a year, I'm sad to see it's gone downhill. They used to serve a decent selection of ciders but now they've done away with the scrumpy on-tap and bulmers and replaced it with Stella Cidre (yuk) and the rubbish 'fruit' ciders which... More
