Good food well cooked and priced

We ended up eating twice at this little restaurant during our short stay in Worthing. Don't be put off by the outside appearance - looks aren't everything ! This is a small family run establishment - Antonio cooks while his wife is front of house. Yes the décor is dated ( not Jamie Oliver's or his... read more

Horrific food. Garlic bread literally dripping with grease and fat, refused to recook for us, heard chef shouting in kitchen about it. Canneloni runny sloppy and tasteless. Had better supermarket microwave meals. Pollo alla panna was sloppy, soggy batter with tasteless sauce and inedible I physically could not eat it and I'm never fussy. When asked waitress was very rude... More

We spent an evening with friends at Antonios recently - our second visit - just as enjoyable as the first. The food is freshly cooked for each diner, the atmosphere homely and relaxing. A good menu to choose from and beautifully cooked and presented. An unassuming restaurant from the outside, but a real gem inside.

Now, if you want the best calamari fritti, the best Vitello alla pana, the best garlic bread and in retro surroundings but without fuss and in the quiet, visit Antonios in the Brighton Road close to Splash Point and enjoy the most delicious authentic Italian food freshly cooked to order by Antonio and brought to you by his wife Lyn.... We went to this restaurant as it was convenient for our guest house and we both love Italian. What a mistake. There were only three people in there who left shortly after we arrived so we were the only ones in there. We both ordered the giant mussels which were very nice. We then had chicken in a tomato sauce... More

I apologised several times to the customer and explained that the piece of "plastic" found in the Spaghetti Carbonara was in fact a tiny piece of the plasticated paper used to separate the slices of Parma ham. I said I was sorry and that it was an accident. The customer ate all of the meal, wasn't charged for it, so... More

We went to this restaurant as we kept walking past and felt we really ought to try it. To be honest I wish we had not. It is a very tired place and that is not bad if the food or service makes up for it, here, it didn't. The food was bland, unexciting and disappointing. For starters we had... More

We are very puzzled by this review as we cannot find any recent bills which have Snails and Veal Milanaise on them. However if this is a genuine review it would probably have been better to raise your grievances at the time so that there would have been an opportunity to put things right. As regards the wish to have... More

We went for the first time, decor maybe dated but authentic Italian without a doubt. Food was fresh and served ontime. Places like this are few and far between, it is a bit of a time warp but couldn't fault the food. The menu is limited but that is the beauty of this place. Excellent value for money, two starters,... I took my wife to Antonio's, mid-week in Feb 2014 because I had heard that the food was good. Well I wasn't let down. When we went inside I thought "Oh God, its a bit run down" and indeed it could well use a makeover, But there is no denying the food was fresh and of good quality as well... More
