After having fantastic experiences of food and service at the riverside inn on a number of occasions and never being disappointed. We hired the marque for our wedding reception. The garden hire was very reasonably priced and the buffet food was incredible and great value for money. All of our guests couldn't compliment it enough and there was more than... More

I have been here a few times now with my family and I could not criticise it. I would highly recommend their Mexican night on a Wednesday. I shared with my brother who normally eats quite a lot and we just about finished the nacho starter and could only manage two of our fajitas! The quality of the food was... More

You have to know where to look to find this place but it is well worth the effort. A number of real ales were available. The menu is varied & quite extensive plus daily specials. We had homemade steak pies. The veg was served separately & was not over cooked or frozen as you often find.We had a selection of cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, swede, cabbage & peas.Something... I just organised a colleagues retirement meal with 21 people at The Riverside Inn. They were really welcoming and organised so it made my job a lot easier. We had pre-ordered most of the meals but there were a few people that insisted on leaving it to the actual night before deciding. I had 2 people not show up and... More

We had an excellent evening of fun and food, out with friends. The pub was welcoming, we had an extra person, it was no problem at all for the staff. The food was excellent, fajitas and lasagne all plenty to eat and tasty. I thought it was reasonably priced, around £5 for a starter, £10 for a main, £5 for... More

Ranked 3rd at time of review. It's not as easy to find as it could be and the website could be a little more specific but we parked in the designer outlet, exited via the station end exit, walked around the corner and saw the bridge to walk across. The outside could do with a lick of paint but inside... More

A very friendly welcome to a clean dining room; only marred by the drunk regular swearing like a trooper at the bar, and the slightly dog-eared Asda placemats on the tables. Portion sizes ridiculously large - and prices on the steep side as a result. A balanced menu with some nice traditional pub fayre, but some rather elaborate dishes (i.e.... More

The friendliest and warmest welcome to this gem of a pub/restaurant. This without doubt is the best roast dinner we have had out in ages. Thank you to all, cannot wait till next time.

Went here for family pub lunch. The food was good and great value and the service exceptional. It's a short stroll over to the Shopping outlet so instead of fighting the crowds at the food court walk over to this pub support your local!

Came here with my boyfriend and his family for a birthday meal. The food was once again, amazing, filled with flavour and great quality. Just wish I had room for dessert. The specials on the board offered a wide range of choices which I wish I could have sampled all of them, I can't remember exactly what I had but... More
