De-Caff Confusion

We popped in for a coffee to warm up and selected 2 small De-Caff cappuccinos and a "normal" small cappuccino from the machine. I don't know what they think De-Caff means, but putting a 3/4 measure in the cup doesn't usually mean that there's less caffeine in it! You can see from the photo... read more

We are regular visitors at the Garden centre and have had several nice lunches in there in the past. This time due to electrical issues their choices were very limited. Instead of our normal panninis we had to opt for their sunday roast. It was almost unedible, the meat was nice but the yorkshire pudding was like a rock and... More

Large coffee shop with spacious well laid out seating area. Free WiFi. Very good to have a one to one or small meeting with colleagues.

We went on Saturday afternoon. We enjoy the garden centre but only really use the cafe as we could do with a cup of tea while we are out. I really don't know why we waste our money. The tables were loaded with dirty crockery. The floors were full of dropped food (as usual). The queue for tea and coffee... More

Very disappointed with the food hygiene! I took my grandchildren for lunch there and my granddaughter picked a cheese sandwich. When we got seated and started to eat I noticed blue mouldy over her bread!!! I took it straight back and the assistant wanted to make her another one! Did we want this! No we certainly would not entertain eating... More

Very convenient being part of the garden centre. Plenty of tables. Long slow queue for food. Terrible cakes ….tasted totally stale. One of the servers wiped a knife on a filthy wiping rag, then used it to spread a sandwich….disgusting!

We has prawn sandwiches and coffee and cold drinks on our most recent visit. Canteen style , cakes looked fantastic but we were being good on this visit. Worth trying to see what you think.

Low prices, it got manically busy as we departed the place and seems popular? They did have a gluten free option for my companion and the staff were friendly but - the breakfast was decidedly indifferent in a school canteen style. Not somewhere I'd return to I think... unless desperate..!

Dobbies is ok. It's always busy and copes pretty well. We did three in a row today and Dobbies comes above Sainsbury and below John Lewis. You can't fault it on price. The quality fpdoes suffer but that is the trade. I do like the place it's fun and always worth a visit. I am going to try to love... More
