Service, quality and quantity poor.

Visited this restaurant for the first time. Although the restaurant was not busy, we had to ask for plates to be cleared from the table, returned inadequately cooked food and thought was overpriced for the quality and quantity. Would not recommend.

Always a nice welcome on arrival. Attentive service, great authentic food. A little mire pricey than other Indian restaurants

I was first introduced to Mr. Khalid and his team by my then boyfriend in 1993. We have been regular clients since. The food is good, and the service excellent. Mr. K has teased me for years about a misordered non-existent dish I asked for once. The younger team he is bringing on will, I'm sure, follow in the same... More

For a few years we have been buying take-aways from here. The food is varied and better than average, and the management are always welcoming. The lighting in the restaurant is too bright, which is why we enjoy the food at home! We visit about every 6 weeks.

food okay but not much of it, quite expensive for very little food. Restaurant busy but little atmosphere, staff was not very chatty. Comfy chairs and tastefully decorated.

To be honest I am not a huge fan of Indian cusine, as previous dishes I have tried over the years tend to be greasy, tasteless and too spicy for my liking. Somehow my other half persuaded me to go out for an Indian. We were greeted and seated quickly and being midweek the restaurant was quite quiet. Staff were... More

Certainly one of the better curry houses I have visited. Food was excellent, staff were attentive without being intrusive, service was as you would wish. My only criticisms would be : interior lighting is not of the best and the printed menu is difficult to read. Would definitely return when next in Banbury.

We went for a Birthday meal on Tuesday evening. Great flavours everything made to order & you can both see & taste the differences between the all the dishes. Some lovely side dishes. Tuesday nights you couldn't do better for £10. Starter, Main, a plain rice or naan & 3 side dishes between 6 of us. Only thing not included... More

Really nice surroundings, good position, as you walk towards the door you know this is an upmarket restaurant, the staff were very attentive throughout without being pushy, The food is well presented and very tasty and being a curry snob needed to be! although perhaps portions are a little smaller than normal and a little expensive. I would recommend this... More

Probably one of the better curry houses in town.... small portions and a bit expensive for what it is.
