I dined alone at the quays whilst staying overnight at the Premier Inn next door. A big sprawling place with plenty of tables inside and out. I visited here with 2 friends on a Friday night - so we were assuming it'd be busy - which it was. But that didn't stop the super staff from delivering a fantastic service throughout the time we were there. The DJ of the night was also perfect and very friendly when I asked if he could play a song... More

Came here on business staying at the premier inn next door. In all fairness in the afternoon it was ok, reasonable service and comfy surroundings. However in the evening it was beyond poor, sooooo slow and when we did get served the barmaid im sure saw us as a total inconvenience, not a hello, thanks or even how much the... More

Booked a table for Fathers Day several weeks ago. Got off to a very bad start when the "meeter and greeter" ( hopefully NOT the Restuarant Manageress) threatened to give away our Pre booked table because some of our group were stuck in traffic! No name badge so unable to ascertain her job role. I suspect the soured faced lady... More

We go to the Quays once a month probably as it is close to where we live and we then use the bowling alley over the road. I have given it a 'very good' rating as we have never had a problem. The food is always good and there is plenty of it. The outside experience when it is sunny... More

I had the steals and ale pie with.......( I said mash). What I actually got was smash, tasted awful, was lumpy and had a rubbery texture. I had complained but I was just given an extra portion of the same. Stay away from the fake mash.

Waited 20mins for the starter, 30 mins for the main both cold. It's like we got forgotten about. Been there a few times in the past and the service and food have got progressively worse. Will not be going again!!!!!!

If you like basic cold hard chips with rubbery steaks its for you, cheap meal deals and it shows in the quality of the food. Staff friendly but its not enough to make me part with my money again.

I have visited this restaurant a few times. It is very good value and the food is good for the price paid. There is a no quibble guarantee if not satisfied. The menu is a bit confusing as in deals but is varied. I went this Friday (always been in the week before) and it was very busy and the... More
