We booked a table for 15 people to celebrate our Sapphire Anniversary. We were seated in the balcony area which suited us as it's not as noisy as downstairs. When we arrived we were delighted to find a bunch of helium balloons in the centre of our table, at no cost to us. As we were there for a celebration... More

I ordered a half chicken roast dinner which I haven't had before and although it was ok I needed more gravy which they charged me 59p for . They have a no quibble guarantee if I had sent my meal back because I didn't have enough gravy they would have replaced the whole meal it's stupid and I felt i... More

went on 2 occasions recently both early evening.Food was good and hot and the staff were attentive. Sat on rear terrace for drinks afterwards watching water boarders.Only drawback was the overgrown access road and footpath which was not very welcoming.

I have tried and re-tried visiting the Quays and each time am sorely disappointed. Most of the waiting staff are fine but find their managers less friendly. The food is always over-cooked and lukewarm when served. They're always so short-staffed too. Not much more to say. Sad really, as Basildon is short of decent restaurants.

We were a party of 12 and the staff were very obliging in putting tables together for us. There is a large and varied menu with many 'meal deals'. my daughter asked about the deals and our waitress said not to worry as when the order is placed the till would marry up the deals for us. With a bottle... More
