Food was your standard takeaway curry and was a bit generic. Service was friendly and quick. Handy for the local area.

Coming from the black country, and balti belt, I know about indian restaurants, and I normally shudder when out of west midlands however after being recommended by a local to visit here we thought we would try it..very impressed service was excellent. Tandoori chicken was tasty, flavorsome. Mushroom bhaji beautiful. Chicken saagwalla my wife really enjoyed. Be aware that uou... More

This is my Dad's favorite Indian so have eaten here on lots of occasions and I have always enjoyed the food, they do a fantastic chicken chaat for a starter and it is definitely the best I've tried. The food is always on top form and full of flavor, however, as the visits have gone on over the years I... More

We visited the Indian Palace around 10pm on a Sunday night, without making a booking, after a trip to the theatre. We were given a lovely table by the window. Staff were helpful and efficient. Decor is lovely. The curry's we had were fine, nothing special, but overall when combined with the great decor, service and view, we had a great... More

Drinks..ordered white wine with soda only got the soda.this place is one to... More

My partner and I ate at the Indian Palace on a rainy Monday night during a week long tour of the Peak District. Most of Buxton was very quiet - but the restaurant was very busy. Fortunately they found us a table by the window (we hadn't thought to book) and we both enjoyed the best curries that we've ever... More

Just had another great curry at the Indian Palace. We often have takeways which are always really good but we decided to eat in tonight. The food was excellent. I love the chicken tikka balti. The staff are lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Poppadom, starter & main There's a good variety of choice and the food was delicious. Staff very friendly. I've seen a couple of poor reviews, both from... More

We booked a table for 9. We came 7ish they were very busy. We thought we would get served late. But our drinks and popadoms came very on time. We didn't order starter because we was so hungry. But our main meal came so quickly as we wanted. Rapid service, The currys were fantastic with lots of flavours. Hot and... More

You must book if you want to eat in since they get very busy but they offer a takeaway service. We tend to get takeaway and although not cheap compared to others (indian and chinese in Buxton) the standard of food is excellent
