Very Good French Restaurant in a great setting.

Six of us enjoyed an excellent meal, including the house wine,a sauvignon blanc and a Merlot from the languedoc area of France, both recommended. starters inclued snails and frogs legs, and the Rib Eye steak was superb. This was followed by an excellent cheese board, a chocolate tarte, and coffee... read more

A lovely little French restaurant where we enjoyed a mixture of food from the main menu and specials board. The goats cheese filo pastry starter was very tasty and the beef bourgignon delicious. Very attentive, friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

In Blue John country, this was the real gem to find. A chance beer in the sun trap behind in mid afternoon led to a lovely conversation and a booking for two for dinner. After the theatre rush. The Hollies were on and sold out! There was a great atmosphere and a really friendly welcome. The menu, including the specials... More

Enjoyed a lovely lunch today in this little gem of a restaurant - just like being in France! Great choice of authentic French dishes and very friendly, polite service - would definitely go back.

Would love this restaurant nearer to home, although we had dinner there we wished we'd called in for lunch too. Wide choice of food, some great choices on the specials board, very difficult to chose. Glad we booked, it was the Easter weekend but looked likely to be busy all the time .

Delicious food, friendly staff and a nice selection of wines and bears! The daily specials were great and the steak was amazing!

This is a great little restaurant tucked away in the heart of Buxton. Reminded me of our many trips to France! The interior is great and the food and drink fantastic. The staff were great too. Look forward to our next visit!

After a long day travelling from London and detouring over to Shropshire and ending up here (as planned) we wanted to have something simple. Not had French food for a long time and didn't fancy the snails (no bad reflection to them). My girlfriend was keep to try something new as we are in Buxton for a few days. A... More

This restaurant was a great find in Buxton but I would advise you to pre-book as we did. Booked for 7.30 and it was very quiet when we got in (on a Saturday night). By 8pm the place was packed out! Being so busy didn’t affect the service however for us which was great. The food was delicious – starters... More

I have been on a couple of occasions so far, once in the Summer with my friend we dined outside & again with my family to celebrate birthday & anniversary. The Menu has a variety of choice and I felt completely spoilt, the food was delicious we had gone in early to avoid weekend rushes at lunchtime but the place... More
