Great little cafe serving lovely food, home cooked, great ingredients. The sausage bap is truly fabulous. Definitely worth a trip to see the great selection of hot and cold food, great protions for hungry folk too.

Very nice small cafe with good choice of food and cake! Had a BLT baguette and opted to have the salad with it. What came was an impressive plate full of salad with potatoes, slices pineapple and mango. Worth a visit!

This is a good everyday restaurant - must be as we had to wait for a table. Prices were average, had the wraps with chips, but the special - lamb hotpot looked delicious - my friend had that had she said it was packed full of meat and would have done her two days. Service was good, we were able... More

A fairly pricey latte coffee and a slice of cake were OK but the coffee was nothing to write home about. My wife said the cake was moist and tasty but the coffee rather bitter (and as she is from South America the home of coffee she knows what she is talking about). Homely surroundings and pleasant staff.

One of my favourite cafes, ever. The food is always good. Not much room to sit down but it doesn't matter, think of it as cosy and personal.

A very disappointing lunch. We opted for the sandwich and salad meals (over £7 each for a sandwich!). When they arrived, there was a mixture of different salads on the plate which looked nice, but there were so many things going on it was difficult to appreciate. There was pasta, potato, coleslaw, pomegranate, pineapple, tomato, cucumber, lettuce, mayo, vinaigrette, sweetcorn,... More

This is a brilliant place to go for a drink and cake/snack or a casual lunch. Warm, cosy, friendly with great food that is well priced. No idea where the review stating £8.50 for a sandwich came from........have been lots of times and never seen that on menu or specials board. They do serve sandwiches and it is possible to... More

Husband had full English Breakfast and said "best in town" I had huge slice of Victotra sandwich cake and large tea, "scrummy". Young people served us with a cheery smile. Will call in again soon.

I had lasagne and salads, my husband had homity pie and salads, all deliciously homemade and tasty. Eight pounds each for this was amazingly good value, considering that "salads" means about four types of original, unusual, freshly made types of salad. The coffee was also wonderful. We would like to have sampled the cakes but we were too full. A... More
