Headed into Buxton after a walk around the Peak - the tables outside proved useful and great view watching the world go-by, The place inside is compact but is more than adequate for a Cafe, Coffee was excellent - well worth a visit

Popped in for a quick bite at lunchtime. Good homemade food and pleasant staff. Plenty of choice and reasonably priced.

We had breakfast at The Green Pavilion during our one night stay in Buxton. Thought we would go to one of the local cafes instead of the hotel breakfast, and this place didn't disappoint. Fantastic freshly cooked full english for me, freshly made porridge for the other half, lovely tea and orange juice. Plenty of fresh sausage rolls, cakes and... More

Prompt and very friendly service. I ordered a smoke salmon and cream cheese baguette with salad and my wife a mixed salad and jacket potato with cheese - both excellent. Last time we visited was about 4 years ago and the cafe seems to have halved in size so now seems quite small. Nonetheless, would really recommend this cafe for... More

Nice little cafe (bordering on claustrophobic) so would recommend visiting in summer when you can sit at one of the outside tables. Good food - much of it home-made. Good quality (Illy brand) coffee, freshly brewed. Great place for breakfast/brunch. Try their falafel wrap if you're there for lunch.

This our second visit to buxton and our second visit to this cafe. The choice is great for meat eaters and vegetarians alike, is well cooked and fresh. Our order got forgotten so we had to wait a while but the waitress was genuinely apologetic and gave us a drink on the house. The food was definitely worth the wait.... More
