Honestly my very favourite restaurant in the locality with the friendliest staff, who always greet you with a smile and a chat no matter how busy they are. It's perfect for breakfast lunch and even does fantastic evening meals. Couldn't say enough good things about this wonderful restaurant.

Hard to find place in a little alley off the main street but well worth looking up. Food was great and no special request was too difficult. Asked if mashed potatoes could be boiled new ones, request was accepted with a smile and when food arrived I had a bowl of 12 potatoes all for myself! Too generous but I... More

We went for a family meal on a recent visit back to Ireland. As always, the food, drink and service are second to none. A 5* meal all round! The new menu is fantastic, and the presentation on the plates is even better than it was before! The prices are extremely reasonable, especially given the superior quality of the produce.... More

I have only ever been hungry enough to have soup which is lovely, however the brown bread is I would think d best i have ever tasted. They sell loaves of it which i must buy some day. This restaurant is a bit hidden as... More

lovely place for a quick tea or coffee or hot chocolate and snack or they also serve main meals. seating upstairs has lovely view down the lane. scones are huge and served with fab local butter/cream or both and jam. Jam was not home made and would have made the whole experience of our morning tea there, even better. Waitress... More

Had a lovely early evening meal in their bistro which is based downstairs in the building and open during the day, the restaurant upstairs opens at 18.30 each evening. The food was beautiful and very reasonably priced, will definately be back.

We had a family dinner recently. There was a party of 16 and the staff were excellent throughout the meal, food was excellent, the staff were very friendly through and were very helpful in providing options for all the kids. Selection of food and wine is excellent and great value for money. We will all certainly revisit.
