A little gem of a Coffee House! Perfect pot of tea served in a beautiful vintage cup and saucer, in a beautiful, quirky building. Owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming, cakes and pastries delicious and free Wi-Fi! Very lucky to live across the road for a weekly visit! :)

This is a quirky place that I can imagine appealing to all ages. Funky interior in what was an old forge, attached to the former New Inn pub. Good parking area to the rear. Decked area for when the weather is good and I noticed newly set ramps by the steps. Good choice of very lovely cakes including some gluten... More

Ignore any reviews before September 2014 as The old Forge has only just reopened as a coffee shop. Cycled here from home and had a delicious latte, the cakes and pastries looked good as well. There is a patio are where you can sit outside - just perfect for this lovely September weather.

Tried the chocolate cake in the new Old Forge coffee shop at the New Inn and cannot wait to try the other cakes. It was so yummy. Husband said the chocolate brownies were good too.

Hmm, Where do I start? We fancied a meal out, so where better than The New Inn, Which I remember being an excellent place a few years ago, Well, That's changed... It was a saturday night, 6:30, and as we pulled up the car-park was empty, not a soul there! At least there was a tiny menu giving us little... More

My husband and I visited the pub on our way back home from Chepstow for some lunch. The couple who are standing in temporarily, were from a holding company and are there until the new owners take over in a few weeks are very friendly. Their menu is limited through no fault of their own as they are working with... More

really lovely building full of character but overall terrible service. very understaffed which seemed to result in the one staff member being rude and irritable. told one hour wait for food but then informed no longer serving food at 730pm. real pity as seems like it has plenty of potential.

Under new management. Beautiful and cosy pub with alot of character. Food was delicious and very well presented. Waitresses very welcoming and chatty. We will be returning.
