Quaint little café with a large variety of home made cakes and scones. They also do sandwiches, soup and speciality Scottish stovies.

Popped in to this cafe and served by very helpful staff albeit in view of her comment, one was a little harassed!! We ordered a couple of jacket potatoes which sounded tempting on the menu but were somewhat underwhelmed by what we received. My humus and roasted vegetable offering looked as if the humus had been thrown at the potato... More

We found this wee gem quite by chance and I had a bowl of home made sweet potato & chilli soup with home made soda bread while my husband had the stovies, both were delicious and served by friendly smiling staff, it sadly left no room for all of the fantastic home baking all of which looked delicious, we will... This has to be the best coffee that we had in a week of trying! The venue is tucked away off of the High Str so not that easy to find but on the route to the Cathedral so not easy to miss either. We enjoyed our breakfast and the coffee was excellent!

Bowl of soup and bread followed by coffee. Very good, just what we needed. We could have had the home made cakes which looked amazing but was more than we could manage at the time.

Please stop serving cardboard tortillas with sandwiches - a bigger salad with some dressing or some crispy crisps would be better.

Reasonably priced compared to other cafes on the main street. Lovely staff. Cakes looked amazing (didn't have any).
