Went here just as they were opening for a coffee and cake. Friendly and welcoming staff. Great customer service and excellent coffee. It is a bit of the beaten track but well worth going off the high street to find it. We enjoyed it so much we went back in the afternoon for a caffeine top up and will be... More

This place used to be a real gem, but seemed a bit slapdash this visit. Coffee, teas, cakes. light meals - all tasted nice but service was slow and presentation a bit careless. Dearer than your average cafe, so needs to up standards a wee bit to justify the price. And please bring the amazing Japanese cherry tea back!

Full of veg and huge chunks of chicken. My sister really enjoyed her carrot and parsnip soup too. We both had the cheese... More

We called in for a bite to eat after a cycle, it was a lovely sunny day and we were lucky enough to get one of the tables in the enclosed sunny back garden. A small but well chosen menu gave us plenty of options for lunch and if you like tea you had plenty of choice in that too.... More

We found this café on a cold February day after walking from the north car park and round the cathedral. It was busy but they managed to accommodate the five of us in the small side room. Service was prompt and friendly, and the food was home made and wholesome. We all had stovies, ideal on a cold day. Very... More
