Cosy, friendly cafe

On a bitterly cold day, it was lovely to find this cosy, warm cafe close to the cathedral. My friend had soup with oatcakes which she enjoyed so much she bought some. I had a Dunkeld Monsieur which was ham on soda bread with two different melted cheeses on top. Perfect comfort food on a bitterly... read more

A lovely little cafe, pleasant staff and excellent tea and cakes. It was just what was required after getting rained on! Will be back ☺

This is a gem and definitely worth eating lunch here. My wife and I loved everything we had (soup with fresh soda bread, roast beef sandwich, [my wife's main dish escapes me at the moment], mocha, coffee, muffins). The quality is fresh, the food tasty. The cafe seems to specialize in cakes, which we unfortunately did not take them up... More

Spill the beans is hidden away on the street approaching Dunkeld cathedral but it is a friendly and pleasant cafe offering very good value. The food is freshly prepared, the service quick and the seating comfortable

Stopped in for a sweet and tea before we toured the Cathedral. Came back a couple of hours later for lunch. What a great hidden gem. The store is clean, bathrooms are clean and the service was very quick and friendly. They made fresh coffee, I've missed that on out trip. There is a small outside patio area set up... More

Visited this cafe a few days ago, tea and scones were good, but bit disappointed when I saw one waitress clapping a dog and then handled food, thankfully not ours. The cafe is in a quiet lane.

Visited the cafe a few days ago with my family. Superb cake and earl grey tea. Partner enjoyed her soup and sandwich, soup a little on the small side. Children enjoyed their child's portions. I however ordered the stovies. I have tasted superb stovies in Scotland at various cafes , lecht Ali centre had to be the best which was... More

On suggestion of a friend visited this coffee shop late afternoon and was greeted by lovely young lady. We were very taken with the baking and cakes on display. Owing to the lateness of the day however most of the items from the individual displays were gone, a good sign I would say. Ordered latte and Victoria sponge and both... More
