Public house and venue situated on the banks of the river Tay, in Highland Perthshire.

The Taybank changed hands in Summer 2014 and is currently undergoing some much needed, and significant renovation work.

The Taybank is a down to earth warm friendly place where you can relax without worrying about muddy feet. We were out for a walk and had our dog with us, this was no problem as they were welcome. Went specifically to listen to a bit of traditional music and to be fair in that respect it was fantastic, however, service without a smile and really extortionate drinks prices will ensure we won't return. For example, £8 for a double Disarronno! So many more bars here in Dunkeld, will give you a much more friendly welcome.

Road in the Dunkeld on my bike. The Taybank was my first stop, couldn't wait to get a beer and a little food after riding all day. They did not disappoint. Loved the tables outside in the warm afternoon sun.

Whether taking in the open mic night on a Wed, the local fiddle night on a Thurs or enjoying a nice beer in the sunshine outside overlooking the river Tay this is the place when in Dunkeld.

Good wholesome food, a good choice of drinks and an excellent place to spend an evening if you enjoy live, spontaneous music !

We are here one Sunday afternoon in September. Was myself and wife and 2 kids. Food took over 50 minutes to arrive. We were told there would be a slight delay. But when you are eating with a 2 year old and 4 year old well this length of wait is unacceptable. Food was ok. Staff reasonably friendly. Wouldn't rush... More

Real ale was sour and obviously off. Barman less than friendly saying he drunk it and it was fine referring to me a pensioner as "mate". No decent coffee either - in this day and age! Went next door for a great ale food and coffee and service.

The Taybank is small but full of character. We were there 14 and 15 October staying at the hotel next door and were able to sit outside for a drink in the sunshine overlooking the River Tay. both nights there was live music on and it was very enjoyable. The log fire in the lounge was very welcoming.

We were hoping there would be some live music but we were too early (6:00pm) I wasn't impressed with the beer selection, too many light ales for my taste. We both had a hamburger. It came with caramelized onions, chips and a nice little salad of diced fresh veggies, bean sprouts and shredded lettuce. Nice presentation. The Taybank is suppose... More

Stopped here for some lunch. Over priced food and bar staff were less than friendly. Would not revisit.
