Liquid lunch

Drinkies with friends while away for weekend. Covered smoking area at rear. Pool table. Live band played from 15:00 which were very good. Views of harbour as right on the front.

We went to the Ship on the Saturday in November. Liked it as soon as we went in. It had 4 good ales that were all properly cared for so a good choice for all. A solo guitar player/singer was performing and covering various songs ska & reggae style very well he then progressed onto various other type covers all... More

Would have scored very good but the menu prices made me down grade score to an average. I enjoyed visit and staff were friendly. Most mains on the menu were nearly £20 which I did think was expensive. The atmosphere was nice and I would probably visit again.

Stella £3.90 pint. I think the most I have ever paid! BUT, chilled branded glass, nice view, friendly staff. I suppose you pays your money, take your choice.

Ideal location, this excellent pub is always very friendly. They now do bar food which is really good value for money, and well presented. The staff are always friendy and the live music at weekends is great.

This is not where you might expect to find very good, freshly cooked Thai food, but we did. This is an traditional pub, on the old harbour front and frequented by fishermen for many decades. Good selection of real ales, occasional live music and good pub atmosphere. Not necessarily a place for families or a romantic dinner, but for some... More

Went there recently with a few colleagues. We all had main courses and the food wasn't that great. My seafood tagliatelli was really bland - overcooked. However - the real ales were good and the staff were really friendly The others all seemed to think the food was ok
