Just went for a last minute catch up with the family before Christmas Day to exchange Christmas presents etc and as we have children we sat in the playbarn section. We went in and were the only people in there and 2 staff members. The play area was clean which was a positive but the high chairs had old dried... More

This is a pub we have eaten at on numerous occasions in the past. I'm not going to claim that it's ever been a culinary gem but the food was passable, the service always friendly and efficient but most important for us was the child friendliness. We re-visited for the first time in quite a while the other weekend. Talk... More

Really impressed with the staff customer service, the man at the meet and greet station told us it would be a 10 min wait and he would text us when a table was ready which was perfectly fine for a busy Sunday tea time,in the meantime we were handed the children's free play passes and colouring packs which included a... We went here the other day in anticipation of lunch we arrived at 1.30pm and we sat in the table service area. We ordered our drinks and awaited a menu. We looked at the menu and then eventually after waiting for the waitress to return and having to ask for some service we asked about what was gluten free as... More

Nice chain pub. Food is expensive for what it is. One of us had steak skewers, £8.99 for 4 small cubes of grisly steak plus a bit of onion and pepper. The side salad that came with it was the best part. It also came with bread. The burgers were ok but expensive. The staff are friendly, though no one... More

I would doubt that few, if any, of the offerings are freshly prepared which is, I guess, what you would expect. But the quality was quite good and at reasonable prices. Drinks were also reasonably priced and service pretty good. The place itself is clean and welcoming and has a good atmosphere. Not somewhere to choose for a special occasion... More

Visited here with my daughter (13), my friend, his mum and his 3 children (7,3 and 2). We were shown to a table in the 'child friendly zone' here my friends son immediately sat on a seat next to the tv showing CBeebies. There is a wide choice from the menus and we all had a starter and main course.... More

After reading some negative comments we were unsure whether to go. We decided to with our daughter, son in law and 2 young grand children. The premises and the children's play area were clean and well run, the staff, particularly Paula and Ant were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We all had something different to eat and... Visited here with my daughter and granddaughter for lunch, service was a bit slow and we were not told about any of the deals on offer such as free bottle of wine on Thursday when ordering 2 grill meals, (which we did), children eat for £1 and 2 main meals for £9.99. Only found out about these 3 offers from... More
