Me and my friend went for tea at the Hoo and had a great time! Food was great, staff were great and the atmosphere was lovely! They were happy for us to sit there and chat for hours and frequently topped us up with tea! Lovely! I think for the price they could offer a few more scones though!

My wife and i went to the hoo for afternoon tea to celebrate our 1st anniversary. The staff are wonderful...friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food and coffee were delicious which we topped off with a rather nice glass of rose champagne. Overall a great afternoon which will definetly be repeated

I took a friend here as a gift for her 40th birthday. I bought a voucher through buyagift. The setting and location are beautiful and we felt transported back in time. Stunning lounge and the staircase down the hall is incredible. Afternoon tea itself was good but not brilliant. I was surprised to see on the menu that sandwich replenishments... More

I was invited to a seventy birthday celebration for afternoon tea, we had a side room which added to the occasion. The service and atmosphere was excellent and whilst it is expensive for special celebrations is worthwhile.

My wife and I were given a voucher for Christmas and we used it at Easter 2014. The staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. A great selection of sandwiches and cakes and the tea was good.

Tasty food but nothing that you couldn't get in a m&s. I think it is over priced now and would be better value at around £24 especially as you are charged for refills of food. Surroundings pretty, staff are ok.

This was the second time we have had afternoon tea here. The first time was faultless. This time everything was lovely except the scones which were very dry. Apart from that the sandwiches were lovely and fresh, the little tarts sweet and tasty and the tea selection extensive. Champagne was average but adds to the occasion never the less. The... More

Had a lovely afternoon tea. Freshly cut sandwiches ;a selection of mouth watering cakes and a wide choice of teas. Surroundings were beautiful- inside and out. Quite expensive but worth it for that special occasion.
