Had a lovely afternoon tea. Freshly cut sandwiches ;a selection of mouth watering cakes and a wide choice of teas. Surroundings were beautiful- inside and out. Quite expensive but worth it for that special occasion.

We had a very pleasant afternoon at Luton Hoo. The food was fresh and service excellent. My mother was particularly taken with our waiter Daniel who served us with great enthusiasm all afternoon. He even arranged for us to be moved into the more comfortable lounge with a fresh pot of tea after we had finished our cakes. Would recommend... More

I booked this in the morning of going for myself and my friend as we wanted a relaxed catch up. The staff were excellent and the food served at afternoon tea was delicious. We then had a lovely walk around the gardens and the hotel Really lovely afternoon and not rushed by the staff

I took my friend to Luton Hoo for her birthday on a bank holiday weekend just gone. The tea and cakes were enjoyable enough but the customer service was appalling. We felt isolated and ignored. I have had a member of Luton Hoo contact me and offer me a glass of champagne, but when choosing to have afternoon tea and... More

I have been to Luton Hoo on a few occasions over the past 3 years & every time has been wonderful. Unfortunately my visit in July was not as pleasant for a few different reasons. Food - scones very dry, sandwich fillings not as varied and cakes did not have that "professional" touch to them in fact they looked as... More

When to The Luton Hoo for afternoon tea with my boyfriend's parents and grandparents. Pros : Beautiful Gardens/Grounds, Service is very good, food is delicious, the actual house has been kept the same but still looks well looked after. Cons : No proper wheelchair access if you need it. They just put to boards down to help you wheel the... More

This was our second tea at Luton Hoo - and the first had been excellent. Sadly, the second proved otherwise in so many ways. The setting is very grand and, in fairness, provides a pleasant backdrop. The staff are very, very young, welcoming, attentive and eager to please, even if their short term memories are a little lacking at times.... More

Best breakfast for that special occasion. Pauline our host went the extra mile to make us feel at home. Even managed a few chocolate birthday treats. Thank you.

The breakfast at Luton Hoo is quite an experience. I love buffet breakfasts but their choice of juices, cereals, fruit and cooked options is amazing. The staff are attentive but not intrusive in the room and the eggs benedict I ordered from the a la carte menu arrive promptly and was the best I've tasted.
