Relaxing meal well presented.

I really enjoyed my meal. The garlic ciabatta was delicious and my venison sausages perfect. My wife chose sweet potato chips and enjoyed them a lot. I also liked the sloping ceiling which gave the impression of an airy space because at its highest it was very high and at the lowest normal.

Met up with old friends at this restaurant - there were six of us in total. Really friendly and attentive service, but not intrusive at all. We all found the menu very appealing, and the food itself was beautifully presented and very delicious. The chocolate puddings were huge! Would thoroughly recommend this place - indeed one of our party has... More

Good family reunion meal for ten. The waitresses have to continually annoy people in the bar area by delivering hot meals through the crowd. At times they cannot hide their frustration and annoyance with the punters, which does nothing for the atmosphere. Silly and high risk as accidents will happen. Good food and drink. The roasts were excellent as were... More

There was 10 of us that went to the restaurant for my father's birthday. I saw the reviews and thought we would try it out. The service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Everybody like their food. I had beef stifado and would have liked a choice of rice but the potatoes and salad were nice too. Always there... More

We stopped, initially for a coffee and a beer, and a break from driving. Was quiet inside, with only half a dozen people eating and/or drinking. Staff were pleasant and served us immediately.. Seating inside and out was pleasant and I have to say, I was impressed with the Bathroom!!! Potpourri, heating and body lotion were seen and used, area... More

Just back from a wonderful evening celebrating my dad's 78th birthday. Can't rate this place highly enough. The food was lovely and all the staff were brilliant and so attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Highly recommended and thank you for making my dad's birthday so special.

Lovely home cooked food. Steak & Guiness Pie, Meatball pasta and some great attentive service from Steph. Plenty of pub darts fun to follow - not my cuppa tea but hey Nice grub. Well recommended.

having not been to this pub for many years I was surprised to see how much it had changed. It isn't a big place but the restaurant has enough room to hold probably 50 people- with more outside on the patio in warm weather. The menu isn't vast but combines traditional english pub food- pies and steaks- with spanish dishes.... More

We had a really enjoyable evening here on Saturday. The staff were all friendly, helpful and attentative whilst being patient with our poor decision making skills! The food was wonderful - the lamb steak from the specials menu was delicious! Looking forward to going back!

Went to the Frog and Rhubarb whilst working in Luton for a week. It had good Trip Advisor reviews and didn't disappoint :-) We've been back there 3 times since. Really friendly service on every visit and great food at a very reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
