Hadn't been here for a few years but had heard good things about it. So we tried it and were pleased we had. Lovely tapas either as a starter or main course, 5 for £9.95 seemed good value. Also had the suet crust pie and although it was delicious I didn't have room to clear it. This was a big... More

Visited here on my second night visiting Luton. We sat down and the service was very, very slow! One barman, one waitress. Took over an hour for our order to be taken and nearly 2 for the food to come. We weren't the only ones complaining and a good few got up and left. The waitress was very friendly and... More

We recently visited here as we were in the area at a wedding. The food was lovely, we all had something different and enjoyed our meals. The owner was very attentive. They cook everything fresh so it isn't 'fast food', very good quality and reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again and recommend to others.

We are indecisive people, so when we received a £7 voucher for the frog and rhubarb we thought we would give it a go! We phoned to book a table for 7.00pm and told they didn't have a table until 7.45! We accepted. We arrived @ 7.30 to an empty pub & restuarant! A few people strolled in asking for... More

The team consisted of 25 colleagues from across the USA and Europe. The dinner was designed to allow us to relax and get to know each other in pleaseant surroundings. A traditional English pub was suggested and I picked the Frog & Rhubarb on a friends personal recommendation. And it worked. The food was great; the beer/wine was great and... More

Wide variety of food; we had the 5 "tapas" for £9.95. Quite nice, but most were not Spanish. The 5 dishes we chose were adequate for 2 people for a light lunch. BUT, £5.50 for a glass of wine? £2.00 for a half-pint of beer? The staff set up a tab when they realised we were going to eat, so... More

Stopped here for a few drinks on the way to the Airparks place and the place and atmosphere was lovely. The landlady was so friendly and her mother was chatting to us for ages, felt like we knew them for years! Lovely back garden and the menu looked varied and good value. At the time we came in, a Tuesday... More

My wonderful family arranged a surprise Birthday dinner on Monday 28th April, it was fabulous. Restaurant decked out with banners, balloons table decorated really well and Paul was in the kitchen doing a great job. Thank you to all who made this a memorable evening for me.

We went for lunch. It was a slow process and took over two hours. The food was average and not quite upto decent home cooking. The portion size was epic and could feed two large people. The main issue was how long it too to get the next dish. You shouldn't really come here for lunch as you won't have... More

The Frog and rhubarb is a typical village pub that serves a wide range of great food! The quality of food is excellent though a little pricey in some cases. Don't drink a lot as the alcohol is very overpriced! We did feel that the service was a little poor as staff lacked that warm, welcoming 'I actually care' attitude... More
