Relaxing fresh food & great service!

We've been here before. It's a thatched cottage tearoom. It is situated between Allerford & Bossington, West Somerset. It is Idyllic with an indoor tea room & numerous tables outside. This time I tried the smoked mackerel with a good size salad dressing & sauce to go with the mackerel. My... read more

After a slightly longer than planned walk from Minehead to Bossington ( somebody please sort out the coast path signage ) we had a fab lunch at Kitnors which made us feel human again. The food is obviously freshly produced by Kitnors and served by friendly staff. The menu is not what you would expect from a tearoom, we both... More

We have visited this tea garden twice. Once on spring bank holiday Monday 2014 and today on May Day bank holiday Monday. On both occasions we experienced identical poor service. On the first visit the garden was busy. Today it was much quieter outside and we were the only people inside for some of the time. On both occasions we... More

We had tea in the garden of this beautiful thatched cottage in the middle of the picturesque village of Bossington. We could have sat there all afternoon (and nearly did!) watching the birds compete for crumbs. The owners are friendly and welcoming and the savoury cream tea (seriously cheesy light-as-a-feather scone with cream cheese and chutney) is inspired. Definitely somewhere... More

We popped in for a quick cuppa and tea cake on a Friday - the proprietor/staff were lovely, service was swift and the tea and tea cake were delicious. Nice china tea service, fresh flowers on all the tables, interesting photos and a good atmosphere. The gardens are extremely pretty. The village itself has a car park directly opposite the... More

I booked Kitnors for my mum's 'significant birthday' for a High Tea treat for 10 people. From the booking itself through to the High Tea day, Angie was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The sandwiches in the High Tea were fresh and tasty, the cakes were mouth-wateringly delicious and the scones were second to none. Kitnors comes highly recommended by me!

The garden at the tea room is lovely, so peaceful. It is well worth a visit, we were staying in Minehead. All the food is well presented, home made, it can't be beaten. It's in a lovely area with a lovely walk to a virtually empty beach. Really nice afternoon

First high tea of the year at Kitnors-as good as ever. Loved the variety, particularly liked the quiche. I'll be back for many more!

This is well worth a visit, a short drive from Minehead through beautiful countryside and a comfortable walk to the beach. Then back to the tea rooms for, well, what do you fancy? Tea and scones with cream and jam? Or, it's a cold day out, how about homemade red pepper and sweet potato soup with big doorsteps of toast... More

This place is full of memories. We have always stopped here when walking in the area. This visit was as welcome as all the others. Tired from walking and a great little reviver.
