Wedding party

We hired both rooms in the Tea Rooms for our wedding party and the guests were absolutely thrilled with the hosts Teresa and Roy. Food and rooms were just perfect, thank you so much!

Though the postal address is Minehead, Bridge Cottage Tea Rooms is in the Exmoor village of Winsford. The tea rooms are in the centre of this picturesque village overlooking the ford and adjacent to 3 of the 7 bridges. As well as the delicious cream teas popular with visitors of all ages to this area Roy and Teresa serve a... More

It certainly doesn't feel like going to a B&B. No, this is more like a sleepover at your favourite sister's 5 star hotel where the chef has a Michelin star. Last time we stayed we were included in a super Sunday lunch; this time a delicious feast of sandwiches - succulent smoked salmon, creamy egg, cheese and exotic pickle; home... More

I visited these tearooms for the 2nd (and 3rd) time this year, after having first visited a year ago. They were recommended to us last year by the wardens on our caravan site, as providing the best cream tea in Exmoor. This year I well and truly put it to the test as we had a cream tea at various... Im sorry i was late in putting this promised review on. This beautiful tearoom simply has the best food and service i have ever experienced. Superb setting in a pretty and peaceful village, a real gem of a find quite by accident. The staff are the friendliest and most helpful I have ever encountered. The toilets were the cleanest i... Something for everyone here all cooked on the premises using locally sourced ingredients where possible and served in the heart of the picturesque village of Winsford. Where else could you find sausages and bubble and squeak served alongside the more traditional cream teas in a lovely garden? Relaxed? - I nearly fell off my seat into the stream. Lovely place,... We were doing a circular walk and stopped for lunch in Winsford. It being a lovely sunny day we decided to opt for a table in the tearoom garden. We selected paninies which were served with salad and crisps. We liked the variety of hot drinks on offer and were sorely tempted by the range of delicious-looking home-made cakes but... More

This is a lovely tea rooms that does more than a very good cream tea. Situated beside the ford and with great views of Exmoor it was wonderful to sit in their garden and have a fantastic brunch. Having phoned ahead to be excused the Sunday roast which was almost fully booked, we all chose the bubble & sqeak. My... More

We stumbled upon this tea room by chance whilst on holiday in Somerset. This is a lovely little chocolate box village with a little ford. The tea room is perfectly placed with plenty of seating both inside and outside. We popped in for tea and cake one afternoon and was very impressed with the cakes which were all homemade. They... Was in the area with a friend for the weekend, called in for a mid afternoon snack and was blown away by the choice on offer all hand made on the premises. After juggling between, ploughmans, delicious looking quiches, sandwiches and other various delights I settled on a cheddar ploughmans which was served with gorgeous fresh bread and tasty pickles....
