We visit minehead 2/3 times per year and always dine out at sunflowers, knowing that it's great value for money, friendly and good service!

I walked in and stood by the counter for a minute or two, the women behind the counter totally ignored me. I realised it must be table service so I sat at a table next to the counter, I was totally ignored for the next 15 minutes! I got up walked out and went a few doors down and had... More

Second visit to this cafe, after we came back from day out in a Lynton and Lynmouth. The food is cooked to perfection and today we one had pancakes and another had a cream tea. The pancakes was beautiful and for the price, they got three pancakes and scoop of ice cream, and a covering of cherries in a sauce.... More

Absolutely brilliant food & service. Lovely big fry up, great ballast to settle my stomach from last night's self abuse with the cider. Friendly staff that are real people, willing to share a laugh & joke. Polite & genuine chatter, taking an interest without being intrusive. The general traffic of local patrons is reassuring.

We visited on a very wet Thursday nd dispite dripping everywhere we were made very welcome. Cooked breakfast are great value and the hearty option certainly hit the spot with the male members of our group. Tea was nice and strong and the hot chocolate very tasty, The staff were friendly too. Check it out!!!

It is the worst place I have been to since I live in Minehead. The service was normal, with an unhappy young lady serving us. I ordered a beef burger, and what they brought me could have been whatever meet but beef. It looked like one of those cheap frozen burgers you get in bundles in supermarkets, not at all... More

I was out on a nostalgia trip to Minehead! Took my wife (African lady, never been on a train) and my Mother (88 ... used to live in Minehead) on the West Somerset Railway from Bishops Lideard to Minehead ... steam hauled, of course. After a bit of sight seeing (beach watching) we were feeling peckish, and walked up The... More
