Good pub grub & dog friendly

Had a late lunch with family group of 7 adults & a dog. Made to feel welcome and good service. We sat in the bar with dog and ordered from a wide menu. Standard pub grub with main dishes offered choice of potatoes and two vegetables. Steak & kidney pudding was tasty & large enough for two people... read more

We have just come back from Minehead after a two week holiday during which we must have visited The Quay on about ten occasions. We never had a meal there so cannot comment on that side of the establishment ,however we had numerous drinks there and can only praise the young man who was on duty on the majority of our... Having stumbled across this pub for a quiet drink in their beer garden, we liked the friendly, warm feel we received here, so much so, that we booked a table in the restaurant for the following night. Again we were made very welcome, with excellent service and the food was fantastic, I can highly recommend the Steak stones. Right on... More

We had visited here before but had never ventured into the back beer garden. It is lovely outside with plenty of tables. Has quite a few steps up to it so access is limited, although you can get to it via the road at the back too. Staff were very friendly. Generous helpings of good food. I will return.

A party of eight including for children visited the Quay Inn in minehead in August 2015. The main reason was that I saw an advertisement boarding in the town that said English and Thai food. Unfortunately when we arrived there was no Thai food on the menu what so ever not even the smallest piece of lemongrass. However given that... More

Well its Sunday the last night before heading home after a 6 week tour of West Country, we had wandered along the front towards the harbour & were very hungry, it was getting late 8:20-8:30 so we nipped in to the Quay Inn to see if they were still serving food & if we can get a meal. The welcome... More

We visited The Quay Inn for lunch after attending the WSR Open Day at the Minehead station as it was just a 7-minute walk from the station. We were a little disappointed when we got there to learn that there was a limited Sunday menu and we could only order from the six items on the chalkboard. We decided to... More
