Description: The Quay Inn - where everyone is most welcome. We delight in offering the best, locally sourced, quality, foods and real ales at reasonable prices. The menu changes with the seasons. We also LOVE MUSIC! Quay Roots at the Quay Inn, frequently presents local, national and international music acts. The next event will present Cam Penner and Jon Wood from Canada, on Halloween night. We also host regular acoustic and plugged open music sessions, and the next one of these will on Sunday afternoon, 6th October, at 2:30pm.The Quay also provides an extensive coffee and tea menu and fantastic selection of naughty yummies (cakes, desserts) that can be enjoyed all day. We welcome dogs and well behaved owners, and also have a wonderful large garden where you can enjoy the lovely sea air.

Thursday evening. No customers. Dead atmosphere. Staff member very friendly, however. Food was nothing to write home about. My grandmother has fish and chips - the fish was certainly out of the freezer. It's a seaside establishment for goodness sake! Very unimpressed. Mushroom stroganoff was okay but made with tinned mushrooms. It is also very pricey - £10 for frozen... More

We stopped at the Quay for some lunch. The beer garden is lovely and a real sun trap. Very mixed menu, your traditional greasy british food with some Thai thrown in. We had ham egg and chips, which was fine (although the ham was very fatty). Unable to cope with our request for the garlic bread to be made as... More

This pun is located in a great position overlooking the sea on Minehead and close to the main shopping street. The landlord (just taken over) was very friendly and sat and had a chat with us. He's offering traditional English and Thai food - looked an interesting menu but we didn't eat there. Good luck to him! Couple of proper... More

Frendly staff. Clean and comfortable suroundings.Food was all presented beautifully, however the ingredients were not of very good quality and so the taste was rather 2nd rate. One member of our group had two hot cooked eggs put on top of some very cold ham the result was rather unpaletable. We also found the dining room lighting very dull and although... More

This pub restaurant is worth the little walk just on the way to the harbour, The food was delicious, plenty of it and served in simple but stylish surroundings. The bar staff were very attentive and I would recommend the sharing platters and the seafood carbonara which was overflowing with mussels and crab !! Definitely worth at least one evening... More

Staying in a B&B in Minehead for 3 nights in June, we needed to find places to eat every evening. On our B&B hosts' recommendation we went to the Quay Inn first. It was a bit of a walk from where we were staying but a pleasant evening, so quite nice to come down to this area. (Was pleased to... More

There's a shortage of good restaurants in Minehead, so it was a real pleasure to find the Quay Inn, with new management, chef and staff, has filled that gap. For us, it was so good that we dined there four times in a week. Excellent food, menu (inc. vegetarian )and service. Look forward to the next time.
