Description: The Quay Inn - where everyone is most welcome. We delight in offering the best, locally sourced, quality, foods and real ales at reasonable prices. The menu changes with the seasons. We also LOVE MUSIC! Quay Roots at the Quay Inn, frequently presents local, national and international music acts. The next event will present Cam Penner and Jon Wood from Canada, on Halloween night. We also host regular acoustic and plugged open music sessions, and the next one of these will on Sunday afternoon, 6th October, at 2:30pm.The Quay also provides an extensive coffee and tea menu and fantastic selection of naughty yummies (cakes, desserts) that can be enjoyed all day. We welcome dogs and well behaved owners, and also have a wonderful large garden where you can enjoy the lovely sea air.

Enjoyed a nice meal on a quiet Sunday evening! Thai curry very tasty and authentic. English dishes good size and quality. Would have hesitated if I had read previous reviews but will revisit to try other Thai dishes!

We visited this pub about two years ago and had good memories of it so we revisited it last week. Places change as time goes by, so we accepted the menu changes an assortment of Far East, Eastern European and basic English meals. The huge menu and the empty pub should have made us move on to the next place,... More

We visited here late Friday afternoon, when business in most places is getting going. The place was VERY quiet. There were dead plants and flowers in vases on the window ledge. Only one draught beer available. The barmaid was very pleasant but there were no other staff to be seen and it seemed like nothing was happening regarding food. The... More

We walked in and before we had a chance to speak, we were asked if we were eating. I asked if we could have a drink while we decided. The owner/manager was quite grumpy and aggressive, the young barmaid was very sweet and fiendly. I ordered a Thai dish as the lady cooking is Thai I was told, my friend... More

We've just finished a meal, the hideous service I received from the 'manager' compelled me to write instantly!! I'm appalled at how I've been served. The manager is a joke and seriously needs customer service training. I ordered a penang curry, which had a thick film of oil all over it. I explained to the waitress who agreed and returned... More

We've just left this terrible pub where the service is so disgusting I can't believe this place is still in business!!! I ordered a penang curry which arrived with a thick film of oil on the top. My friend had ordered the same and the two dishes looked completely different. I returned the meal to the waitress who was very... More

Bar maid was brilliant friendly helpful and smiling. Understaffed and I can see why everyone was at Ship Aground sadly. Food all appeared microwaved (Thai) and £4 for a pack of inferior prawn crackers well ? My advice stick to Burgers and Fish and chips they looked ok. Waiter took my order then minutes after tried to give me someone... More

On my latest visit to Minehead we decided to try a local hostelry with a reasonable menue. What a shame the cook can't cook. The pastry on the steak and ale pie was so hard it must have been made with concrete and when prized open the contents was well cooked .I suspect the whole thing must have been reheated several...
