We met up with friends here for Sunday lunch. Winterbourne is a really charming little village and the pub is idyllic. It's not flash or too olde worlde, just authentic and comfortable. It was a glorious day so we ate outside and the staff were absolutely lovely. Two of us had the spicy seared salmon with salad and thin fries... More

The Winterbourne Arms in Winterbourne (no surprises there) is a real hidden gem. The pub is housed in a lovely old building in a beautiful village. The staff are charming, helpful and make you feel welcomed and relaxed. The food was fantastic. I have a black pudding, bacon and soft poached egg salad, my wife have the chicken and avocado... More

We called in on our way home from the Air Tattoo at Fairford and what a lovely pub! We were warmly welcomed as soon as we walked in. We did not intend to eat but in the end could not resist the menu. The portion sizes were large and the quality of the food was superb. The service was excellent... More

Barely entered the place 30 seconds...but knew I'd be back. Beautifully bright warm summer afternoon in June. Your host cuts it just right with professionalism & wit, regardless of whether you are dining or just drinking. I planted myself in the garden, gazing across over the hedge to the cereal crops rising to the skyline, the willow tree brushing against... More

We stopped here for Sunday lunch after a visit to Bath. It was our first visit and it will not be our last. Everything about this pub ticks all the boxes. Friendly greeting. Professional serving staff. Delicious range of food. Two of us had the beef and Yorkshire pud with all the trimmings. Two had the haddock and chips. All... More

This was our first ever visit here and we found it to be very friendly and welcoming. We didn't have to wait long for the food and it was very nice, big portions and all seemed nice and fresh. Overall very pleased.

Had not been to the Winterbourne Arms for some years so thought it was time we returned. Have always enjoyed the food and ambiance and this visit was no exception. The welcome was very warm (if a little chaotic at the start) but the banter was great fun and the food very good. It seemed very quiet on what was... More

Popped in with my wife for a quick pint and a bite. Lunchtime menu was excellent! We both had the steak and onion baguette with salad and straw fries. Could not fault it. The steak was tender juicy and tasty, the onion was sweet and flavourful. The salad was dressed and the fries did not have a drop of oil... More

I went here recently for a quick drink in the early spring sun. We were greated by one of the friendliest bartenders you will ever meet who was bubbly and warm and really made us feel welcome. There is a great atmosphere inside the pub, complete with a fire, as well as a tranquil beer garden on the warmer days.... More
