An experience worth repeating when you need a lift

Food cooked to perfection, served by experienced pleasant staff who thoroughly spoil you. Go a couple of times a year for a treat and it never disappoints. Do not know of anywhere that reaches these standards in food, service and general experience

The Vineyard is known for its amazing wine cellar and extraordinary menu, however recently we have been for 2 work lunches in the California bar and the food is terrific and the prices make it accessible to all! I can really recommend it as a lunch venue even when you don't have all the time in world!

We went to The Vineyard just as Daniel Galmiche had taken over as Executive Chef...we were a tad disappointed to be honest, but I was in the area for business so thought let's give it another go......boy are we glad we did! We stayed in a ground-floor suite which was simply stunning - the gardens and grounds present immaculate views... More

Sunday night is probably the worst night to eat at a restaurant, but that was my wife and my only option this week for my birthday dinner at The Vineyard, one our favorite restaurants. Service was very good as usual, but the restaurant was not very full. We didn't go for the tasting menu this time so we chose off... More

Fantastic food and excellent service. Ask for a table down by the window for views of the grounds. There was a live pianist on the Saturday evening that we went for dinner. This is obviously part of a hotel so it does have that hotel restaurant feel about it. Extensive wine list so make sure you don't need to drive... More

Stunning venue. Wonderful place to relax and indulge in some decadence, We have been for drinks to celebrate a 30th birthday (enormous wine list - far too many delicious wines to be able to choose from easily!), and also had an afternoon Spa half-day before our wedding. A wonderful way to spend time together relaxing and eating some delicious yet... More

We went there a couple of days ago (5 of us) and we really enjoyed the food. The service was very good in general, but not attentive enough. A couple of times, I needed to top up water myself and had to ask for more bread. However, we will come back again, as the food was totally worth it!

Attended a networking event which included breakfast. This is a stunning venue and I would definitely like to return to sample dinner in the restaurant, but sadly on this occasion the breakfast seemed undercooked and therefore disappointing.

We visited Vineyard for lunch. The restaurant environment was elegant and comfortable. They offered a lunch menu, £29 for three courses and £39 for 4 courses. The dishes came with an artistic presentation, giving you the enjoyment right from your eyes. We enjoyed the food very much. Given the food quality and very nice environment, the price is very reasonable.... More

I've reviewed The Vineyard restaurant before but doing so again as it's one of our all time favourites. The food is some of the best you'll find anywhere in the UK in terms of the classic French style. If you concentrate you could even imagine you're in France itself. Not sure why but the place has something of what the... More
