Kitsch at its best, amazing ice cream ... with a 50s vibe, oooo it brings me back
Been using the HARBOUR bar for 30yrs we just cannot go to Scarborough without a visit its the best ice cream in Scarborough. My own children and my grandchildren all agree 10 out 10.
We have been visiting the Harbour Bar for at least 30 years and never go to Scarborough without calling in. Our family are now grown up and take their children. It never seems to alter which must take a lot of hard work! A good old-fashioned ice cream parlour which is as relevant today as ever.
If you're in Scarborough an Ice Cream from Alonzi's is a must! It was absolutely gorgeous. The place was also lovely and clean and we wanted to go back to try one of their sandwiches but ran out of time.
I have been going here since I was a child and the ice cream is the best. Although the sundaes are rather expensive they are very filling. My favourite is getting one of the ice cream twists to take away. There are lots of flavours and they are a reasonable price. Delicious!

I have been going here since I was little and it never changes. Wonderful atmostphere and decor of the 50's. Ice cream heaven. Knickerbocker Glories to die for and banana splits a must have. Latest addition are the Mega ice cream cones, look like an olympic torch! Clean and with a 5 star hygeine rating. Staff could be more attentive... More
I too have been visiting this cafe since childhood and it is still the best Ice cream on the front! Coffee is nice too and the decor,Atmosphere and facilities are all good.
Wonderful traditional ice cream parlour with a real seaside feel, you walk in and it is like stepping into a 1950s haven, a welcome break from the killer pensioners out on the street. It is a shame that the staff treat every customer like a major inconvenience, in fact, as we sat at the bar we were plain ignored for... More
We've been going here since I was a child (coke floats and toasted sandwiches for tea) and now we take the children for the gorgeous ice creams. Love it!
