Lovely sunny day, sat in the gardens which were beautifully kept. Home baking, fresh tea and coffee, friendly staff. Only criticism is they don't take debit cards so we had to run along to ATM to get some cash out. Nice little shop selling small gifts, cards and wrapping paper. Yes I would go back

Booked a table at daisy for 6 adults and 2 children for an afternoon tea following our wedding at the registry office down the road. Trish the owner could not have been any more helpful and food (ALL HOMEMADE) was lovely. I would recommend daisy to anyone.

A family member had booked a table on a nice sunny day, I had not visited before as I was down for the week visiting some family. Attentive and very prompt service by a member of staff. The cups looked fabulous, I was tempted by a scone but opted for cake which was very good indeed!

I met a friend for afternoon tea. We had booked a table. It was reserved indoors for us but we could have gone outside if we wanted to on this lovely sunny day. We had the strawberry cream tea. My friend had the strawberry lemonade and I had fruit tea. There were sandwiches of our choice, wensleydale for me. There... More

We come here often, the service is excellent. All the staff have big, genuine smiles on their faces and the food is scrumptious. The car park is not very big but there is plenty of parking available on the road outside. The outside space is pleasant with large tables under the trees. Inside it is just like a tea rooms... More

Visited the DTR with a friend for coffee and cake, although the coffee was excellent, I had to go without cake as nothing gluten free. My friend had a delicious tea cake, sadly I had nothing, still better for the waistline!

I visit these delightful tea-rooms regularly with my family. When the weather's good enough (isn't it always in Scarborough?) we sit outside in the pleasant garden. We've had tasty sandwiches delicious cakes (especially the scones mid-afternoon) and a delightful child's lunch in its own box. The staff are smiley and helpful. May I suggest a welcome addition to the menu... More
