We visited La Piazza on a Friday evening, while staying in a hotel around the corner. This is everything an Italian should be. Good food, good portions and good value for money. We had a combination of pasta and chicken and risotto between the three of us. All very good. Even the wine, Italian of course was reasonably priced. All... More

Called in for a coffee ended up eating as usual. All fresh and tasty whatever you have agree with everyone else why queue up at Pizza Hut for expensive when you can get far superior food just down the road. Wraps to die for

Popped in for an inpromptue lunch, very small inside only had 5 or so tables. The selection was wide and the price was extremely good value. Food was made fresh and was very tasty. Far better for lunch than some other places offering similar food. Only propblem is that being so small it can feel like everyone can see/hear everything.... More

It's a few months since we were in Scarborough, so when we decided to visit all my family asked to go here for lunch. The garlic bread is the best I've ever eaten. We had a selection of dishes, pasta, pizza, and rustic bread sandwich, all of which tasted amazing. The owner is lovely he works extremely hard and always... More

We have been on a few occasions now and cannot fault it. I am amazed it is not packed every lunch time! We have been once when they... More

It's small so you may not be able to get a seat - and if it's busy there aren't many seats so they may want you to leave pronto - but the pasta and pizzas are by far the best traditional italian food that I have had for ages. And it's not only brillian food but it's really cheap too.... More

Discovered this place when we saw staff from Florios (another great place) eating a pizza outside. If it's good enough for an Italian, it must be good and it is. Having lived in Italy I am choosy about where I eat and on a recent trip to Italy my daughter compared every meal we had to Luca's pasta and pizza... More

Been quite a few times, lovely food however 3 of the times going he has said 'last orders been taken' at 3 in the afternoon? Don't think so. Considering its open till 4. Always feel rushed out of there, genuinely only go cause the food is nice.

This is a little gem of a cafe, (closes at 4pm) Owned by the Italian chef who cooks there. Everything freshly made and true to the region of Italy he comes from. Chef passionate about food and pleasing his customers. Cheap, excellent food. Gave us complimentary pizza and espressos and skint teens who came in, short of enough cash, drink... More
