Very nice fish and chips

I visited on a Friday, so had to have fish and chips. Everything was well cooked and tasted nice, as it always does. I ordered the fish and chips special :fish, chips, mushy peas and tea with bread and butter. The portions don't look massive, but about half way through I realised just how full I... read more

I went for lunch during the Easter holidays with my husband and 9yo daughter. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food - huge portions meant we only needed a snack later on. Service was good - expect a bit of a wait as all cooked to order but so worth the short wait!

My wife, daughter, son-in-law and myself went here for our dinner on a very busy Wednesday evening. The meals were delicious and reasonably priced for Scarborough but the highlight was the wonderful service with a smile from the lovely Elisha. Although she was rushed off her feet she still managed a smile, laugh & joke with everyone.. terrific

Had a marvellous lunch here. Good old fashioned British fish, chips, mushy peas and a pot of tea. Very good service. Traditional surroundings with nostalgic photos on the walls. Lovely view of the bay and beach. Food was served quickly amd was fantastic. Would recommend this place tp anyone visiting Scarborough.

Went for afternoon tea and cake, we had a tasty lemon meringue and a yummy caramel coated apple cake with ice cream. Varied selection of cakes with either ice cream, pouring or whipping cream. Good customer service and friendly staff.

If visiting Scarborough the Fish Pan is a must if you want to sample the best of traditional fish and chips. There is a takeaway and downstairs seating area but the hidden gem is the upstairs restaurant with views over Scarborough beach and sea front. The service is friendly and efficient and if there are children in the party they... More
