This is a little way out of Scarborough where I was staying, but proved to be well worth the drive. The menu is at first site, fairly plain, but the quality of the food, and the taste, is just superb. I had pork, as the beef had just run out. It was the best bit of pork I'd had for... More

Was visiting Scarborough for the weekend and found this on trip adviser. Was really good...simple home cooked food but really nice. The staff were really friendly and the pub had a really nice atmosphere. Was busy so would suggest you book. About 5 miles from Scarborough, but with the trip

We were looking for somewhere to have Sunday lunch in or around Scarborough and after reading the good reviews about Bryherstones Inn decided to give it a try. We weren't disappointed! The greeting we got when we arrived was friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious and well presented. Starters were excellent. It was all home cooked, lovely large slices... More

We have eaten here before and returned with family for an evening meal. We ate in the lounge area which was quiet (Sunday evening) one of several high quality areas to eat in this lovely pub. The service was excellent friendly and prompt. The food as always was excellent. I would highly recommend the Bryherstones as a place to eat,

We visited bryherstones inn early evening. The bar staff were very friendly, offered us a quiet corner table and left us to choose a meal without constantly asking if we were ready to order. The food was lovely and only took 10 minutes from ordering to be ready. Coeliac friendly and fresh with a homely atmosphere- highly recommended!

Lovely country pub on the Cloughton to Ravenscar road north of Scarborough, log fire, excellently kept hand pulled beer, friendly staff and superb home cooked food, much of which is sourced locally, large garden to rear with play area and a large car park. Landlord has been born and bred into the hospitality business and it shows.

In all reality for consistency and value for money this is probably number 1 in Scarborough. Went on a Saturday night at 8pm and the place was full. Also good to see a packed car park, usually the sign of a good place. Although packed our table was waiting. After ordering the starters arrived very quickly. A nice home made... More

All i can say is what great friendly service and good food and proper homemade onion rings not those frozen rubbish. Good hand pulled bear and good wine choice and for the quality off food very reasonable priced a must go to place.
