This is a little treasure, as we have a caravan in Burniston near Scarborough we are always looking for somewhere to eat and Scarborough is not blessed with good restaurants. Bryerstones however is a very good restaurant mine host is most welcoming as are all the staff. The food is first class and cooked by the lady of the house... More

We found this by chance on a previous visit to Scarborough and were keen to revisit but doubtful that service would be available on Sunday evening as we knew lunch was served into the afternoon. In fact there was no problem---only service finished a little earlier than usual. Good food good atmosphere good service good value !

Good sized car park that does get busy. Entrance well lit. On entry a lovely real coal fire which was lovely to see and smell. Greeted immediately... More

I search Tripadvisor often to review local restaurants, hotels etc... Having seen and read the very good reviews of the Bryherstones inn we thought we'd give it a try on the 1st January. Fingers crossed we were able to get a table reservation. I called and spoke to the manger who was more than accommodating and made us feel extremely... More

We were staying locally for a Christmas break and happened to be located nearby, how fortunate. We ate here for two of our three night stay and I can only say that not only was the food possibly the best that I can remember, the atmosphere was great and the landlord was top draw, not forgetting Sally who does the...
